We celebrate all the gritty things that happen in the background, navigating injury & adversity, building resilience that enables the success on the field and his development as a teammate. This kid puts in the work and his success is a result of the hard work and effort he displays as he follows his passion and dream. In the clinic, he’s focused and determined to optimize performance and trusts the process. His speed training is focused as he learns where to sharpen and fill the gaps.
This season despite missing a couple early season games due to injury, he was leader in scoring (38G) and Assists (22) and was voted Varsity Team MVP!
This athlete is surrounded by coaches that care and put him in a position to be his best. So much gratitude!
Looking forward to watching this athlete grow and develop. Special things ahead!

There’s so much to live for and grow stronger towards - watching my kids grow into adults only increases my drive to double down on health and fitness. I dream of crushing workouts & exploring high places with my kids and their kids for many decades to come!

Annual visit to a favorite playground provokes a certain level of reflection and gratitude for what this past year has provided… how it has challenged me to be a better therapist, father, husband, coach, friend. A potent return to the Pacific ocean from landlocked Colorado is always a grounding experience, like coming home, yet often filled with deeper lessons that help me explore how I may grow forward. The playground always provides!
Tomorrow I celebrate 45 which feels like a numerical best guess at a halflife marker on this earth (with utmost health & fortune of course). So grateful for the people in my life and how they push me to love more deeply and fiercely than ever before. To an even better second half!

It’s been just over 24 amazing years since we met & quickly fell in love! Best decision I ever made was to transfer to CU Boulder to study Kinesiology & play lacrosse in 1998; and in short time I met my person. Lisa moved in next door early in Spring semester 1999 and the rest is history 💕 including this trip to Moab circa 1999 and many other adventures around the globe!
Grateful for all the amazing experiences we’ve lived & life we’ve created together - Luna 🐕 - 😍Ruby & Kai😍 - Blue & Florence 🐾

Grateful for each moment, each step or turn made for better or worse, the moments that make us better, each friendship new and old - especially the ones that bring us new places to play and experiences to cherish and remember.

Running Fast! Who doesn’t love the feeling?!
It’s my most beloved pastime and a skill that’s brought me great success and joy. Mostly, on the lacrosse field the chase was always on, each game a series of short races. To chase or be chased. Though my distance running never materialized to the same level, zero to fast has always served me well on just about any terrain. This recent time trial was encouraging, I’ve still got it 😎
