"A Prayer for Gnosis"

I know the story of Adam & Eve is Truth
For I partook in the same fruit

I drank the wine of its vines & smoked its roots
I know the cross that Christ died on is you

That forgiveness is proof of resurrection in process
That your chest is full of gnosis & the unknown's knowledge

That every gem in your crown was a moment you were called on
Where instead of showing up,

You cast your self from the meat suit like legion to swine
I know how to turn water to wine

How to alchemize time & stillness
Into visions of the divine

My only prayer for The Son this day
Is that you find the seeds of Light to reveal yah way

B**h dove in after her, but not without throwing a sassy remark at F*ck: “Next time, you go first!” They spent hours splashing around, sharing stories and snacks, feeling the warmth of the sun on their backs and the joy of friendship in their hearts.

As the day turned to dusk, the friends sat on the shore, their feet in the water and their hearts full. Fck, with a twinkle in his eye, suggested they build a bonfire. B**h immediately agreed, while S*t pointed out they needed firewood. Damn, ever the joker, quipped, “Well, let’s not just sit here like a bunch of btches!”

With laughter and teamwork, they gathered wood and set the fire ablaze. As the flames flickered and crackled, they roasted marshmallows and made s’mores. Under the stars, they shared their dreams and fears, each friend revealing a side of themselves rarely seen by others.

“Fck, I can’t believe how much we’ve grown together,” S*t said, her eyes sparkling in the firelight.

“Yeah,” B*tch chimed in, “you guys mean the world to me. I wouldn’t trade our friendship for anything.”

Damn raised his s’more and exclaimed, “Here’s to the best crew ever! May our lives be full of laughter, love, and a little bit of trouble!”

They clinked their s’mores together like glasses, the warmth of the fire and their friendship wrapping around them like a cozy blanket.

As the night wore on, they realized that their unconventional names were just a part of who they were—each name a reminder of their wild spirit, fierce loyalty, and the joy they brought to one another’s lives. In that moment, under the starlit sky, they knew that no matter what life threw at them, they would always have each other, and that was worth more than any cuss word could express.

Feels like complicity in the dystopia

One day they will control us
More than our grandchildren will be comfortable with

They will ask us: "Why didn't you do something to stop it?"
Our response will reference the economy, job opportunity, the tech crash

We will do our best to explain the rise in grocery bills,
the housing crisis, inflation, capitalism…

They will ask us why we didn't just stop participating in the oligarchy
We will tell them that we were too lazy to understand what that meant…
