Curious about what instruments these samba schools (as seen on ) are playing? 🪘🥁 When people think of Samba at Carnaval , people think CAIXA and SURDO. Two extremely important drums in any bateria. The Caxia, strung with the bordão outside of the head, projects the snappy sonic texture that fills the sambadromo. The iconic BOOM of the surdo helps us keep time and shake our booties. and .instrumentos are two of the biggest makers of these drums - BUT, we'll be posting many more luthiers! 🟢🩷🕊️Check out for a look at them and makers like , , and .pejota !!
