March 1-st, 1994 - Nirvana played their final ever concert when they appeared at The Terminal Einz in Munich, Germany. The 3,000 capacity venue was a small Airport Hanger.
Nirvana’s last concert lasted 80 minutes (one of the shortest shows from the tour). Kurt Cobain had a sore throat and eventually lost his voice during the show due to bronchitis. After this show the rest of the tour was cancelled.
The 23 song set began with an off-the-cuff version of The Cars “My Best Friend’s Girl”, the final song Kurt Cobain ever sang in public was “Heart-Shaped Box”.
