A look at our first major crop with the Jones Family, circa 2019.
We got to know the Jones Family Farm through the . Michael Jones was seeking a partner to grow heirloom wheat instead of the rye he was growing as part of his crop rotation. Together, we grew the first 60 acres of heirloom grain in the San Luis Valley in the spring of 2019.
On the success of this, we expanded to 160 acres of organically and regeneratively heirloom wheat and are currently harvesting our 3rd season of wheat with the the Jones Family.

Dry Storage opened in 2019 with a two-fold approach— acting as both a bakery and milling operation. We are a bakery determined to rethink the food supply chain by investing in farmers, thinking about the planet and soil, while making food that is nourishing and delicious. Milling our own flour from heirloom grains off of a stone mill is at the center of our process.
