Therapy is risky. Parts of you will not look or feel the same on the other side. Some ppl will encourage you through this, while others will not, but maybe that says more about where they are than where you are. That’s the beautiful part of a healing journey…you can learn just as much about yourself in the process as you can about others.

•A simple reminder from that can help keep communication clear.
•It’s easy for false narratives to quickly grow bigger in our minds, leading us to act/react in ways we may not have had we paused & clarified.
•Pause & clarify so you can communicate from a premise that you know to be true versus communicating from a false premise.

✨The last week of the year is one of our favorite weeks. It’s slow, unscheduled & full of laughs w/ great friends in one of our favorite places. We’re re-charged & ready to take on all that 2022 has to bring✨

Gift cards can be from any major retail or grocery store.

As October comes to a close & we head into the time of year that oftentimes becomes a blur, it’s easy to get caught up in living by our calendar & to-do lists. Through all that hustle & bustle, lets make sure our ppl still feel seen because for many of them, these last two months of the year are the most difficult💚

This can be so hard. It can make you question yourself because sadness makes us uncomfortable. Be kind to yourself, let yourself grieve what you need to, let your feelings sink in…really feel them. Big feelings doesn’t mean you should have done anything differently….they may mean you’re exactly where you need to be for such a time as this.

Our girl had one bday wish…to meet her new baby cousin💙To be safe, we all got Covid tests (negative🙌🏻) & LGA got her wish🥳She spent her 8th bday snuggling & loving on her baby cousin - it was the most special day & she loved every minute of it🎉🥰 Joseph Allen

A great reminder as you begin a new week. People will only show you on social media what they want you to see. Do not allow someone’s carefully curated post to be a measuring stick for your life - that’s a breeding ground for insecurity, which doesn’t serve you well.

Turn your focus inward and toward the people inside the walls of your home - not someone else’s. This will leave your heart & mind much calmer, filling your cup to the brim 🤍

Four days in the desert w/ just you, , was exactly what I needed😍Time & space to breathe & just be; to let the weight & distractions of everyday be put on hold so we can just see & focus on each other💚

This girl is headed to 2nd grade😢Endings & new beginnings are always bittersweet, but we are so proud of how hard she has worked within the new normal👊🏻Now, on to enjoying all things Summer😎💦👙🌴

The tears come even quicker with a side-by-side picture😭 & I could not be more grateful for the preschool years at FCA💙This school is such a special place filled with teachers & staff who have poured the love of Jesus into our littles. Smith learned to read, write, count to 100, the planets & continents, the names of all the Presidents...but the better part was that every day he had teachers & staff who taught him about grace, servanthood & shining Jesus’ light💛And now, we are headed to kindergarten📚✏️🍎
