Greens of Manatee Golf Club.

It’s Thursday morning and we are having some light showers. It’s supposed to pass by us by 7:30 or so. We will have a delayed start around 8:00. The course should be in good shape.

Heavy rain over the last 24 hours and more expected later this morning so we will remain closed Wednesday. Hope to see you Thursday

With the incoming weather we will be closed Tuesday June 11th. They are calling for this front to last a few days but check back Wednesday in case it gets better.

The weather today didn’t cooperate but it’s looking better and better for Saturday. So we have a green light for our scramble Saturday and don’t forget it’s banquet day also. Thank you to MiMi for handling all the scrambles. Another big thank you to Rose for the great food. You won’t want to miss tomorrow. YUMMY

The rain is not cooperating, we will be CLOSED today 😩😩

Friday March 22nd, we will try to open around 9:00 this morning if the rain continues to be light and if it passes by us like the weather man predicts.

Monday February 19th the Course will be closed to all golfers because of really wet conditions. The snack bar and Driving Range will be open till noontime. Later if necessary.

It’s Sunday February 18th and we are closed. Rain and cold go away.

We will not open at the regular time this morning because of a passing weather front. If we open mid morning or not depends on when it passes and how much rain we get. ☂️😩☂️ more later

All 18 holes will be open Thursday January 18th. We are still wet but if we get by tonight without rain, it should be better. We ask all golfers to keep carts 30 feet from greens and follow directions from the staff. Speaking of staff, it won’t be the same without Dave but I’m thinking he would insist on us playing golf.

Today it is difficult to see beyond the sorrow and it pains me to inform you that we lost a great friend, a dedicated employee and dearly loved person in our little community. May the memories that we shared over the years always be with us.

With more rain this afternoon, the following changes are in place for Wednesday January 17th: Snack bar and Driving Range will be open at the usual time.
Golfers and Carts will be allowed on the back nine with #12 and #13 being cart path only. The Front nine will be closed to golfers. We will check conditions midday for any changes. As always, the weather would dictate any other changes. 🏌️‍♀️☂️🏌️‍♂️

A significant storm front will be arriving in our area between 1:00pm and 3:00pm tomorrow. The Greens of Manatee Golf Course Board meeting is being rescheduled to Tuesday the 16th at 2:00pm. An official notice and agenda will be sent out.

We will be open Sunday January 7th. We are a little wet but the course is playable. We are not expecting rain overnight but if it happens, that might change the situation.

We will be closed Saturday January 6th because of a incoming rain front. It looks like Sunday will be a nice day to make up your round of golf.

Weather update for Thursday December 28th. The weather forecasters are calling for a rainy start tomorrow so please call the clubhouse before leaving home. 941-755-8888. 🌦️🌦️

Merry Christmas to all. We are closed today but hope to reopen Tuesday weather permitting of course. 🎁🎄🎉

This is a tough call but we will open Sunday morning unless we get hammered overnight tonight. If you’re not sure, call the clubhouse in the morning to make sure plans haven’t changed.

A very unusual posting for December. We will be CLOSED Saturday December 16th as this storm passes us by. Sunday is still up in the air but it doesn’t look good either. I’ll post another note if we have to close Sunday as well.

It’s Friday and we are open for business. The course debris has been cleaned up. The mowing continues this morning and the course is a little wet. We will stay open till around 1:00 this afternoon unless we get rained out earlier.

Hurricane Idalia has left us with some cleanup to do before opening so the golf course and range will be closed on Thursday. We will do our best to be open Friday (weather permitting). Anyone able and willing to help pick up debris are welcome to join us around 8:00AM Thursday morning (weather permitting). We really fared well considering the size of the storm.
