Announcing: Elevating Women's Voices Historically, women have been underrepresented in legislative bodies, leading to policies that may not fully address the needs and concerns of half the population. We aim to educate, spread awareness, and share resources through videos, social media, and digital resources.

We are thrilled to announce two programs launching in the fall, Divorce 101 Workshop and Latinas of the WRC in Sarasota.

This year, a group of young adults is hosting a prom for residents at Palm Assisted Living in Sarasota. Our team proudly contributed 20 prom dresses to make this event truly unforgettable!

We at the Women's Resource Center were thrilled to join the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation's Regional Scholarship Provider Network for a half-day mindfulness retreat at Resilient Retreat on May 17, 2024.

This event allowed us to practice mindfulness techniques, enjoy a healthy lunch, and connect with colleagues. We're grateful for the opportunity to support our helping professionals and look forward to maintaining the balance and calm we discovered. Special thanks to all the participating organizations! 🌿✨
