Ever been in a focus group? They’re a very interesting experience. Help Kent State University’s College of Public Health grad students develop mental health awareness training. Share your thoughts about the best ways to talk about mental health and well-being. Your contributions will be included in valuable training that Kent State is developing.

Cuyahoga County Community Developent Supplemental Grant.

The City of Brecksville is eligible to apply for up to $50,000 in 2024 Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) funding administered by Cuyahoga County through the Department of Development. Funds can be used for a variety of community improvement projects. A public meeting will be held in person in City Council Chambers at City Hall, 9069 Brecksville Road, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 7:45 PM. The public is encouraged to attend to voice their opinions on local community development needs, or to submit opinions and comments in writing to City Hall. For additional information, please contact Monica Bartkiewicz at 440-526-2603 or [email protected]. Any person who wishes to attend the meeting and requires special accommodations, please notify the City Clerk’s Office at least 3 days prior to the meeting at 440-526-2609.

Brecksville Road Entrance to the Community Center will be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 19
The access drive between Kids Quarters and Christ the Redeemer church will be closed for some paving and milling work for the crosswalk to Kids Quarters. Access to and from the Community Center/Human Services from Community Drive will be maintained. Signs will be posted at Brecksville Road directing traffic to Community Drive.
