Home is where the heart is, and my heart will always be where family is.

My next chapter of life into motherhood, is quickly approaching, and I can't help but think of all the crazy rides and rollercoasters that got me here!

There's no doubt in my mind that everything happens for a reason (even if it doesn't make sense) but I feel like I'm exactly where I should be.

I have everything & MORE, than I've ever wanted in life so now I feel like it's time to truly enjoy it. Material things are great, but feeling fulfilled emotionally and in my heart is the best feeling ever.

I'm going to miss everyone so much while I'm on maternity leave, but I'm very excited to be with family and very soon our newest addition, our baby girl.

After five weeks, her pink faded to the perfect shade. If we had done it this light, it wouldn't have lasted as long, so this is one perk of going a little brighter.

Today, we freshened up her roots, did a ghost trim & added some big waves to her blowout 🌊

Since we stick with partial foils to keep dimension in the back, while I was drying her hair, I told her how gorgeous her hair would be in the fall with more lowlights added in throughout the top section.

Pool side or beach front, here are Beach Kissed Beauty TOP PICKS for essential summer hair care.

🌊 Brazilian Blowout Treatments are the most underrated treatment to fight against frizz. The next best thing? Brazilian Blowout Serum and Bonding Spray! They create a barrier against salt water & chlorine to preserve your hair color and the condition of your hair too. Add a braid, big clip or hat for the perfect beachy style.

🌊 Scalp protection is often forgotten about. When applying sunscreen, don't forget the tops of your ears, scalp and even the tops of your feet. A burnt anything is not fun, but a flaky scalp isn't pretty either.

🌊 A wide tooth comb is perfect for tangles. Try not to go underwater, but if you do, a wet brush or wide tooth comb is the perfect tool for knots.

🌊 Keep a spray bottle with water in your fridge. If you have a coole, that's even better. Once you're at the beach, spritz your face and body when it gets too hot.

There's tons of great things about living at the shore!

One of the NOT so great things, the traffic. Luckily isn't too far for a lot of my guests & I haven't had any issues with anyone arriving late to your appointments (thank you!)

With that being said, I noticed it doesn't really matter a whole lot what time it is, or if I'm going North or South on the parkway, there's always traffic! Keep this in mind for when we actually get into the crazy official summer season once schools are out.

I always leave some wiggle room for my clients, but please remember how crazy the roads can get and make sure you leave yourself enough time to arrive on time. I can usually make it work, but in the event you're running over 15 minutes late, we may have to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

RESTORATIVE & STRENGTHENING 🍍

I just unlocked my NEW FAVORITE .murphy product combo!

I would argue that my hair is in fairly healthy condition, with the exception of minimal split ends. IYKYK I always try everything before I recommend product...

SO, with that being said, for someone with fine/medium dense hair who doesn't wash daily, my new go-to is: Wash & Rinse. Then, for my BLOWOUT, I use a mousse and Serum & Acai Ionic Spray from my mids to ends!

My hair has never felt more soft and looked as shiny. I love the smell, and it's day 2, and I'm not oily or greasy at all. I'm case that happens, I have spray in my arsenal to correct that until the next wash day!
