One thing I loved when I volunteered at my local animal shelter was the initiative I founded back in 2018: The Gift of Giving. 🎁❤️ Fast forward five years later and now I'm bringing it to my own rescue...✨

The holidays are a time of joy and giving so this season, please consider donating a present to one of our adoptable animals. While we are so happy to have our dogs and cats happy and warm in loving foster homes, our hearts break in knowing they're still without families of their very own.

With this program, we hope to give each and every pet at HFAR a wrapped gift from a volunteer or member of the community. The goal is to make all of our animals feel loved and appreciated. The wrapped gifts will then be delivered and placed underneath their Christmas tree at their foster homes. 🎄

If you're interested in purchasing a gift, please choose an animal at www.happilyfureverafter.org/available-dogs-cats and then email [email protected] or comment below with your selection. New dogs and cats arrive daily so make sure to continue checking the site and our social media pages.

Presents can be purchased off our Amazon wishlist (we will wrap them, just note who it is for) or brought directly to HFAR at 70 Midway Dr. in Bethel, CT. Please wrap and tag the gift prior to dropping it off so we know who each one belongs to. Deadline will be 12/20 so we can ensure all our animals get their gifts in time.

🌟 If the cat or dog you selected ends up getting adopted prior to Christmas, they can take their gift home and open it with their families.

The Bridgeport Film Fest is looking for vendors for out Sept 9th and or 10th event.
The film fest is in its 3rd year! We average about 300 people per day.

When: Sept 9 & 10
vendors can do both days or just 1

Time: set up time to be finalized (previously 11:30am set up and 6-7 pm breakdown...)

Where: Klein Memorial Auditorium 910 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport

Fee: $75 for 1 day - $100 for both days
