As promised a little landscape of a remarkable night sky 😘

The journey is done and although these are not the frame worthy or good paintings, they do - for me- tell a story. It’s been a weird but good day of experimenting and creating…now I might go take a break and watch some football

I thought maybe you’d like to come on this journey with me…not sure where I’m going but I’m going. The first feels like the chaos and destruction- the red and crumbling walls…the second is the hope of peace and rebuilding, green hills and sun. These are not done, more layers to come 🙏🏼🇮🇱🕊️

As I started to play in my sketchbook I made this Burnt Umber muddy mess as a start for an under painting. And as I stood looking at it my heart fell heavy with thoughts of the mess and suffering and sadness with what is taking place in Israel and Gaza. I started to tear and sat and prayed for Gods hand to help those suffering- those children. I hanging on to hope and my faith. I think as I continue today, I will try to make something beautiful or meaningful or something from this start. I know it might seem frivolous to just paint but I think it is my therapy. ❤️

Latest mixed media piece. I wanted to capture the fall landscapes I have been seeing from the hill tops - the farm land and the lines that draw you into the scene. I am so pleased with this piece 😁

Teaching a class called: Breaking Boudaries, collage landscape in Naples and Fort Myers this winter. Just finished a sample and I love working this way, so fun, freeing and I love the textures it creates. Think I will do more 😁

Taking an 8 day exploration class - Find Your Joy, by Louise Fletcher. Our first lesson: to paint a large sheet (with taped off sections) without any thought, just play. Limited to 3 colors plus black and white. After remove the tape and you have some pretty interesting little abstracts.

Wonderful class at the UpNorth Art Center in Cadillac . Everyone did a wonderful job with this medium and their wild cotton ball paintings 😁❤️
