I undertook the restoration of this antique sewing machine for a close friend, employing Dixie Belle’s chalk paint in the distinctive shade “plum crazy.” The piece was sealed with Satin Clear Coat and embellished with DB’s Gold Gilding Wax. Additional gold gilding wax and a furniture transfer will complete the project.

I’m finally getting there! This is the first cabinet I painted in my kitchen.

I’ve finally started my kitchen cabinet project. These cabinets are really old but I believe they will paint up beautifully. I just primed this one with Dixie Belles white bonding boss. After 24 hours I will paint it with DB’s Lemonade which is pail yellow.
