Had a nice day boil today! We boiled 377 gallons of 7.5% concentrate and made 30 gallons of liquid gold! So far for the season, that puts us at 86 gallons total of syrup, which is approximately 1.1 pounds of syrup per tap on the year.

We’re back!!! After a year off, we are back in the woods of Vermont! Canned the first batch of syrup last night, the lightest we’ve ever made, but still not golden delicate!! We’ve boiled twice, put 1,095 gallons of concentrate through the arch and have canned 35 gallons of syrup! Now we put the trees to bed for at least 10 days.
