Officers and personnel were present at this evening’s Overdose Vigil by Candlelight, which paid tribute to over 300 Brockton area loved ones who passed away last year due to their battles with opioid addiction.
We also heard some amazing and inspiring stories from those who have turned the tables and against the odds, beat their addiction to start in on a renewed, healthier life!
If you or a loved one is battling with opioid addiction, please reach out to a family member, friend, teacher or member of The Massasoit Police.
Because one life lost is too many.

Thank you to all of the agencies who made Massasoit Police's third annual First Responder Day a success! Our families and kids from Old Colony YMCA's Summer Camp had the chance to interact with and learn about various emergency vehicles and personnel. Boston MedFlight even landed on our baseball field!
Shout-out to Brockton Police Department, Whitman Police Department, Holyoke Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, The Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, Brockton Fire Department, Brewster Ambulance Service, and many others! We'll share a video of the helicopter landing later today.
