Confess Your Sins Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (NLT) ( James 5:16 )
Thinking about confession can bring up emotions prompting you to run away. Try to overcome them. Confession is an uncomfortable action, but is important to the path of healing. When we hide our sins, it only makes things worse. Instead, bring them into the light by sharing your sins.

Love One Another So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. (NLT) ( John 13:34 )
These words come directly from Jesus and sum up God’s heart for how we are to engage the people around us. Jesus gives up his life for us as the ultimate example of sacrificial love. It’s his example that we aspire to follow. Let love guide you.
If we want to grow closer to the Lord and build up our faith then we have to invest in spending time reading God’s word. The Bible refreshes our soul and it’s words help remind us that we serve a good and faithful God. God’s word brings us wisdom and guides us when we are unsure what the next right step is. Take time to read his words daily, in order to grow your faith.

Heirs 17 And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.(NLT) ( Romans 8:17 )
As God’s children and heirs of Heaven, we also show in his suffering. That’s not a popular message but it’s true. God grows, changes, and loves us through trials of many kinds. When you face suffering remember you are not alone. God is with you.

Submit 21 And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. (NLT) ( Ephesians 5:21 )
God’s word calls us all to live a life of submission. Submission is a gift we offer to those around us. It’s nothing that should ever be coerced out of us. A synonym for submit is adapt. Taking the posture of submission, means keeping an open heart to those around you and being willing to yield to others from time to time. Just as Christ took the form of a servant, we are all called to be willing to adapt to one another.

One Who Comforts 12 “I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear?
13 Yet you have forgotten the LORD, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!(NLT) ( Isaiah 51:12-13 )
At the end of our lives there is only one being that we are ultimately accountable to. It is God who sits on his throne in Heaven. When we hear his nudge us toward change, faith steps, and radically different living obedience is the response we are called to have. We are to live to please, serve, and worship God alone.

Trade Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. (NLT) ( Isaiah 43:4 )
You are precious to the Lord! He traded the life of his one and only Son so you could have life and life more abundantly. How many of us would be willing to do this for another person? God’s love is astounding!

Written See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins. (NLT) ( Isaiah 49:16
)
These ancient promises are still true. God has not and will not forget you! Your name is tattooed on the palm of his hand! He sees our trials, hears our cries, and comes to our aide. You are never alone. In your darkest moments may you find and see the God who sees you.

Sovereign “O Sovereign LORD ! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! (NLT) ( Jeremiah 32:17 )
Remind yourself of God’s limitless power and then return to praising Him and declaring your faith in Him! His is the Kingdom, so all authority belongs to Him. His is the power, so all greatness flows from God. His is the glory, so with God we have the victory. These are things we can praise God for as we go about our days.

Go In Peace And Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”(NLT) ( Luke 7:50 )
The result of faith is peace. When we learn to trust in the creator of our souls we can find rest in our lives. Even when we face trying circumstances, we may grieve but we don’t crumble because of the strength of the one that lives inside us. Go in peace today.

The Mind Matters For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. (NLT) ( Romans 8:7 )
Christ-followers believe our thoughts and actions have eternal implications. Christians should be asking ourselves if we are investing in and meditating on the right things. Another way to ask this would be to question what are we living for? Are we living for success? Is money driving us? Perfectionism? Are we motivated by the desire not to let anyone down? Are we afraid if we don’t say “yes” that we will miss out? Christians are called to live for Christ alone and in order to live out this mission we must carefully consider how we are using our time and resources.

Spirit And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD . (NLT) ( Isaiah 11:2 )
When Jesus left the earth, Christians were given the gift of the Holy Spirit. He calls the Holy Spirit our “advocate.” We cannot do what God has called us to without His supernatural power. It is through the Holy Spirit that God comforts us, guides us, and empowers us.
