Glass fracture done in Houdini and then animated in Cinema 4D with mograph effectors. Runs super fast 👍🏻 //
More Houdini experiments/learning. Had lots of fun with this one. I've always been interested in these type of advection diffusion organic like animations. Big thanks to Ian Farnsworth for the initial hip file I disected and hacked apart to get this going.
Some detail shots. Did five line growths at various weights and detail solvers. Super fun, a bit heavy, luckily octane's hair rendering worked pretty well.
What's better than a glass skull? A skull made out of whole bunch of line growths built from previous geo that was built from edges that were generated from a skull.
Fun fact: Lighting a glass skull is surprisingly harder than one would think.
Another color test for this guy. When I get Houdini Indie I'll kick out an animated version of this guy, but until then I'm having fun just relighting and texturing.
A detail shot inside the skull with SSS and the line growth.
Recently I've been trying more and more to teach myself Houdini. This was a result of combining a few tutorials, which are amazing and so helpful and everyone should watch.
⚠️ Road Work Ahead ⚠️ //
Galaxy Data 3
Lots of fun making these this weekend, some people asked about screen effects so I put the ae file up on my site: http://taracks.com/content
Galaxy Data 2
More Star Wars UI love //
Galaxy Data
I've always loved the clean geometric screen ui in Star Wars and thought I would take a stab at recreating something like that along with testing out a subtle crt tv screen effect. //
Floating Animation
Testing projecting animations using lights, fun stuff.
music: floating by Spock ft Nah Mean Brah //
Image Projecting // little technique Im using in an animation that should be done this Wednesday???
2017 Reel Trailer
20 seconds of work.

Collection of different explorations that I update monthly. Each render is made using 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Substance Painter, and Octane Render. The goal is that in exploring different portions of the programs I can grow my knowledge and be able to create new and better works each and every day.
