I watch how my perception of this painting changes while it staying in the studio. And how the world around it changes while the painting is still unchanged. Time goes by on its own. Different viewers come to the painting, look at it, share their impressions. Leave with thoughts. I have already moved it from one studio to another. The quarantine has ended. Summer is ending soon. Something else will start. And the painting will unwaveringly keep it blue depth. Then ten years will pass, twenty, fifty. It will travels around the world. People will look at it in a different locations. This will lead someone somehow to interesting discoveries or actions. Someone through communication with it will experience long-forgotten feelings. We can continue to assume what will happen around, there are so many options. But I know for sure that it will remain the same as it is now. Even when we and I are gone. Same thoughts I have watching the seashore. Which had been rustling with a neat surf since the morning many hundreds of years ago, the same sound and the same color. The sea had seen many people and civilizations. It's all gone now. But the sea is remained the same.

120 x 120 cm, acrylic on canvas⠀⠀
There is a story behind this painting. I ‘d rather say in this series which I paint since 2011. Several paintings a year, in this type of a style. So happens that sometimes the painting does not work out. Of course, it happens to everyone, but in my case, in my technique, it is difficult to fix something once its done. Therefore, this is a fact that I realize in a few days after acrylic dries completely. Sometimes even after a month, or maybe a year, I understand that this is not what I wanted to say through the painting. And then I wash it. I paint over. And I feel relaxed right after. The painting seems to be silent, but it’s like the past froze in ice or like the Hirst’s shark, which in formaldehyde. It is no longer a shark, but still remain form we see it. Same is here - I see only the movements and texture of what turned out to be a mistake, and maybe luck.⠀⠀

Horizon, 2019 / 150 x 100 cm / acrylic on canvas.
In the urban environment where I live, there is no skyline. Sometimes it is necessary to calm down and take a breath. For several years I have been watching the horizons of Belarusian fields, usually from a car window. They have many lines and dynamics, with its primary static character. Perhaps due to the fact that in these lines and the direction of movement there is much in common with my painting, recently fields, stripes of forest and sky began to unfold in my mind. I began to see the picture differently, as a collection of interconnected masses of color in space located along an imaginary line. It is enough to draw a horizontal line on the plane so that our imagination can start looking for a perspective. This is what I am doing now: I create a line of a nonexistent horizon on the format and through color, as well as the plasticity of the material, studying the effect on perception and association.⠀ ⠀

The horizon line, wherever it is, gives support, both within and for further observation of the development of the picture or situation.

I do believe that art can make the world a better place. This time i'm in project helping to build skatepark for children in Mongolia. I'm glad to present my custom handmade skate deck in the auction to raise the funds for that project. If you are interested in it please check the link in profile.
All funds made following this auction will be used to create a skatepark in Mongolia. The skatepark will be fully funded this time by our association and will be created in a difficult area on the outskirts of Ulan Bator, it will be created in the area of Yurts, a disadvantaged area where the population is very poor, and has many children.
The skatepark will be located next to the building in which last year set up the cultural center project as well as the "Make It Greener" project consisting of planting trees around the lake and the building, this project also educates young people about the maintenance of our planet.
