Chadash Dance is excited to present "Layered in Wonder" Aug 8-11th.
This concert centers around the Enneagram, an ancient personality system that teaches that as humans, we are wired uniquely different and thus see the world through different lenses. Told through soul-stirring choreography, danced by our incredible company of professional dancers, layered with original spoken word, film and multimedia, you will not want to miss this show!

When we think of the Drumstick, we recall not just the old restaurant, the art, and the joyful gatherings within its walls, but also its namesake: chickens. 🐓 These fascinating birds, outnumbering humans more than 3 to 1, can be friends, pets, garden helpers (and destroyers), food, and even powerful symbols.
To honor the Drumstick building and its rich history, and back by popular demand, 40 West Arts is excited to present "Drumstick" – an exhibition celebrating all interpretations of the Drumstick’s history and, of course, CHICKENS! 🎨🐔
This exhibit is open to artists of all experience levels and all mediums. Whether you're a painter, sculptor, photographer, or mixed-media artist, we want to see your unique take on this iconic theme. Visit this link to view all submission information: https://bit.ly/4d7FCWR

Broomfield Without Art...
Imagine a world without art...without cultural or science programming.
No paintings that provoke contemplation. No towering statutes that draw gazes. No music that stirs your soul. No plays inciting lively discussions. No creative doodles hanging from refrigerators. No appreciation for the background and heritage of our fellow neighbors. No inventive or curious minds exploring or wondering how something works. Art, cultural and science programming equals change within ourselves, our neighbors of all ages, and the community as creativity feeds the heart, mind and soul.
A Broomfield without art or diverse programming would mean the artistic and cultural landscape of the community we love would not exist. To sustain programming in Broomfield, we must understand where it all began, who cultivates, presents, and supports it, and how we, as individuals and a community, can take steps to strengthen the very organization that started the development of artistic programming in Broomfield.
In 1973, local leaders went before the city council and explained why art is essential to a healthy, vibrant community and stressed the need for a central, nonprofit arts organization. The City Council voted unanimously to designate the Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities (BCAH) as the “official arts organization of the City of Broomfield.” In 1984, the mayor cited BCAH as the “official cultural organization for Broomfield” when BCAH circulated the petition to build the auditorium. Historically, BCAH has been a guide, a partner and a cultivator of many arts programs and groups; deserving of its recognition as an indispensable resource to the community. Truly, the introduction of BCAH to Broomfield was the catalyst that brought about the artistic and cultural of landscape of Broomfield. Yet, as our community continues to grow, less of its residents are aware of BCAH and its legacy, the importance of its continued existence, the programs it presents, and the various groups it supports.
