They have agreed to host Pickleball Palooza for a second year - Mike and Marybeth bring their knowledge and love of the game of pickleball and we could not pull off this event without them! Today's CASA Cafe training provided insight into trauma-informed care. Voices for Children staff and volunteers extend a special thanks to Elizabeth Landin, Bilingual Outreach Coordinator with (the Sexual Assault Resource Center -SARC) for her outstanding presentation about Trauma Informed Care and the prevalence of su***de for those impacted by SA and abuse.

David Posadas with Taco Crave B/CS dropped by the VFC office for a quick visit this week. Taco Crave is a long-time community partner with Voices for Children. They currently host a monthly Taco Tuesday profit share event benefitting VFC. We are so grateful for the support we receive from our community partners. Voices For Children is honored to have been invited to present information about our program to the Mays Business Schoolโs Master of Science in Business program. We have had the opportunity to work with members of the Integrated Business Experience class during the previous two years. Today was a great opportunity to learn about other nonprofit organizations in our community and connect with student leaders in our community.
We had the pleasure of talking about all things Voices For Children with Kappa Alpha Theta - Texas A&M this afternoon. We are so excited to partner with them and appreciate all of the support they provide to our volunteers and the children served by our program.
