Ｈｅｙ ２０２１．．．I got a new planner, I hope this year it actually gets put to good use! I hope all of my friends, family, clients & supporters have had an amazing few weeks of holiday celebrations. I have spent the past few weeks removed a bit from social media, spending time relaxing & reflecting with loved ones (don’t worry, I followed the county guidelines ppl)... needless to say, IM BACK!! People Are Building ‘Charcuterie Chalets’ This Holiday Season

This year’s Thanksgiving is looking a little different for my family. I’ve really been diggin the cozy & intimate social settings of the past few months. My table might not be decorated as grandiose as it was last year, but I’m enjoying the time spent with my immediate family (it helps when you have a cool fam LOL) bring on the turkey 🍗

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 — let the holiday countdown BEGIN!!! Charcuterie boards are back in full force! Every Friday until Thanksgiving I’ll be featuring a new collection of boards. Each cut is 100% unique, guaranteeing that no two boards will ever look the same. In other words - if you see one you like - JUMP on it!!

These 4 range from largest - smallest. The first two are about 28- 30” long and the last two are about 20-22” long. These large boards cost $120 and medium size cost $80. They make stunning & functional ottoman trays, meat/cheese boards, centerpieces and more... What a special gift for a loved one, a holiday host, or yourself!

Looking for a fun picture backdrop?? How about this spooky bat scene! All you need is a spare twig from your backyard (spray painted black) and some black poster board. I traced & cut out various sized bats from the poster board & used double sided tape to paste them in a flying pattern.

The branch is hung with white string (to blend into my wall) hung on command hooks anchored to the ceiling.

Thinking of using a spot light to accentuate the shadow from the branch. What a fun & relatively easy backdrop! 2 more days!👻

This week I’m setting out to share some last minute 𝐃𝐈𝐘 Halloween decor ideas for my fellow spooky spirits 🎃

How fun are these potion bottles?? What I love most about this is that most of the supplies you should have right in your home! Swipe to see what you need to make these spooky brews.
1. Wine bottle (if you don’t have an empty one it’s an excuse to treat yo self💁🏼‍♀️)
2. Black textured spray paint - I thought the rough texture was funky, added an element of “vintage” and old that I liked. Less than $5 at Home Depot.
3. Burlap/fabric for the label.
4. Lighter — I slightly burnt the edges of my labels so that they appeared old & worn. I rinsed under cold water & let dry to ensure edges were cooled.
5. Sharpie — look on google for fun & easy potion labels & get creative!! Or if you don’t have a steady hand look for Halloween stickers to help finish the project.

𝑔𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝓂𝑜𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓅𝓊𝓂𝓅𝓀𝒾𝓃! I cannot believe we’re in the last week of October already. I noticed this weekend that the trees are almost bare already. I’m trying to soak up every last minute of mums, pumpkins & pretty colored leaves. Can time just slow down a little bit?! 🎃🍂

The most important part of design is ｆｕｎｃｔｉｏｎ ... Swipe to see the before of this beautiful formal living room. Gorgeous leather furniture, massive bookcases — however, completely unused. I decided to transform this space into one better suited for this family.

As you can see, we started by lightening the paint color with “sh*ttake” (a beautiful cool beige.. guys I’m obsessed)
We are repurposing the leather sofa & bookcases into the new layout. Soon to come is an executive desk & wall art. Can’t wait to share the inspo for this project... I have a feeling you’re gonna be just as ｊａｚｚｅｄ as me 😜🎼🎷

• neoclassical 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒉 •
My most recent project is located within a beautiful 3,000 + sq. ft. Neoclassical house. Step one — selecting new paint colors for the WHOLE house. What do you think about this color palette? Although these colors will be spread throughout different rooms of the house, it’s important that they work well together. I’ll share pictures of plans for the first room tomorrow!

I try to keep my Friday’s relatively open to use as a day to reflect on the week as well as do some research and find inspiration. One of my favorite ways to do that read design magazines... are magazines even a thing anymore!? Call me old school but electronic reading just doesn’t do it for me. I love to physically flip the pages, write notes & flag things I love.
