Overwhelmed today. Maybe I use that word too much but today was an amazing day at Rochester VegFest. The event was one of the best I've ever been to. The people were so kind. So many wonderful words of encouragement after I shared my story. Rochester LOVED our burgers! We took what we thought was way too much food and sold out of EVERYTHING not a single piece of spinach came home today. What a cool feeling! Thanks to everyone that came out and a HUGE thanks to Chuck for all your help today. Belle, Ang, and Sarah were a knockout team. We crushed it for sure.

We can complain about how it's impossible to compete with fast food prices or we can roll our sleeves up and work to bring healthy, affordable food and education to everyone. We may never get rid of food deserts but I believe we can blaze some trails and make a difference.
