🌟Hey Dino Fam! 🌟 Today, we're celebrating a truly unique story. Meet barbecue aficionados, Christopher and his incredible mom. They recently embarked on a BBQ journey across Texas, exploring the famed BBQ Belt together.

𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨'𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝘽𝙌:
Frankly, my passion for BBQ comes from a love of delicious meat! Plain and simple.
Beyond that I love that BBQ is a community food; it comes from a desire to feed your friends and neighbors. It starts as an experiment in backyards and driveways. This homegrownness means that everyone's BBQ is different and there is so much to explore by region/style/tradition. There is nothing more American than a low and slow-smoked BBQ made with local love. My favorite BBQ is Beef Rib; It's fatty, you have the rendered collagen and connective tissue, and you can get an amazing salty bark.

𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧/𝙎𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝘽𝙌 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙥:
The trip was spontaneous partly because of year-end frequent flyer mileage and some very cheap flights. Right before the Christmas Holiday, I convinced my mother to come on a Texas BBQ pilgrimage. She didn't love the timing but Mom will always travel for food. We had three days, a rental pick-up truck, and a long list of BBQ joints. We tried Salt Lick, Killen's, Rudy's Gas Station BBQ, and many other marked and unmarked spots. This type of semi-aimless road trip is a collection of amazing memories stitching together a spectrum of food culture, exploration of new places, and sharing food with the person who taught me to love food. Mom and I are lucky to still find any excuse to travel for food and look forward to many more shared beef ribs!

We couldn't agree more with those ideals of barbecue! To honor their adventure and all the amazing mothers out there, who would pack up the week before Christmas to go on an adventure with their child. We’re offering them a Dino BBQ menu-tasting experience, so they can add Dinosaur BBQ to their ever-growing list of favorite BBQ spots! 🍖💐
