After the landlord saw this outlet, I replaced all of the old apartment's outlets

replaced 2 vinyl fence brackets. (the old brackets cracked off/deteriorated)

Fan installation (in August is a bonus to get out of the heat/humidity). -- I didn't attach all of the jewels so the homeowner could install the light bulbs that they forgot

Replaced broken window balances causing the sash not to stay up

rescreened patio door and reset wheels in track

Replaced worn glass block window screen

Fixed hole in plaster wall. The walls are textured . So, I tried to match them -- not exact, but it's pretty close

Upper apartment's plumbing was leaking through lower bathroom's ceiling

"Can you replace my bathroom fan? It's never worked since I bought the house. And I've had the house rewired. " So, I replaced the old motor with a new Broan motor; and upgraded the grille... Hit the fan switch and Nothing! So I checked the wall switch. THE FAN WAS NEVER WIRED TO THE SWITCH! THE SWITCH WAS JUST SCREWED IN PLACE. 😞 My straightforward grille/fan turned into a totally different project.

Pop-up bathroom sink drain

this is a common one. "My doork**b keeps falling apart when I pull it." I replaced the missing set screw. It doesn't match the 100 year old k**b, but it 100% works.

straight forward project= Kitchen faucet replacement. it went surprisingly according to plan. I had enough access under the sink. the shut off valves actually worked. And nothing had to be cut out with a saw. No swearing!

replaced leaky hot water shut off valve, added escutcheons, and supply lines for this upper apartment

Problem= kitchen drain leak. solution= replace wrong extension pipe with correct tailpipe and gasket. the old pipe was 1/2 clogged with oil/fat/gunk

CPVC pipe/shut off valve in outdoor shed = LEAK. I replaced shut off valve and supply line

Old buffalo Apartment stairwell redo. The old wall plaster skim coat and paint were peeling.

Deadbolt installation (x3) for apartment's bedrooms

Early birthday morning project= attach vinyl post caps that didn't fit properly on wooden posts

Last minute backsplash fix for a home owner who was hosting an open house the next day. some other guy only set half the tile without spacers and didn't resecure the electrical outlets --and didn't return to finish the job.

Screen door replacement and door frame repair

the landlord asked for door to cover space between wall and tub surround. Of course the space was severely out of square.

Garbage disposal replacement

This was originally to install 3 floating shelves for plants. But they were not sturdy and unlevel, so I patched the wall --2 coats of joint compound, 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint.

I got a call from an old disabled lady who hadn't left her house in months because of a medical procedure. she wanted 2 grab bars, so she could manage 2 steps in/out of her kitchen

Storm door installation. I had to trim the doorframe and aluminum so the storm door would fit. time to get out of the heat 🔥☀️
