Buffalo Behavioral Medicine conducts cutting edge research on behavioral factors relevant to obesity and related chronic disease in children and adults. We actively investigate many health factors that contribute to obesity, such as eating behavior, physical activity, socioeconomic factors, cognitive functions, and purchasing behavior.
The Child Health and Behavior Lab at UB is recruiting parents of 2-to-5-year-old children for the Family Grocery Study. You can earn up to $260 for participating in our study.
You will be asked to grocery shop weekly for 4 weeks and complete surveys and phone interviews. Participants must meet eligibility criteria.

Check out this new study opportunity from our friends at the UB HABLAB. Participants are paid for their time, and there is no requirement to come into the lab or be from the Buffalo area to participate. Please share with families who may be interested!
UB is recruiting 9-14-year-olds for a study examining how children make choices between different rewards. The Snacks and Money Choices in Kids study involves one 2-hour lab visit to the UB South Campus for you and your child. Families will receive $45 for their time.

We’re interested in learning how the body uses sugar for energy.
Who is eligible?
• Adults 18 years old or older who do not have Diabetes
• Overweight
• Willing to eat Greek yogurt
How it works
• 3 lab visits, taking 2 to 3 hours each
• Finger stick blood draw at lab visits
• Visit to the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center of Western
New York for a blood draw
• 6 yogurt samples to taste at home
Your compensation
Participants will be compensated $250 for completing the study.
