Youth Parks and Recreation is excited to host the Town of Tonawanda Police Department National Night Out 2024 at the Lincoln Park Athletic Complex, 1200 Parker Blvd, on August 6 from 6 pm - 8 pm. This event is Free and open to attend. Bring the family!

Youth, Parks and Recreation is running a Lacrosse camp this week at the Lincoln Park Athletic Complex! Kids have been learning so much, having fun, and staying cool in the air conditioned, indoor turf facility. It's a win for everyone! Check back for info on upcoming Lacrosse camps throughout the year.

The Town of Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness Center is happy to partner with ConnectLife this Saturday, July 27. Help us make this Blood Drive a success, 1 blood donor can save up to 3 lives right here in WNY! We suggest scheduling an appointment in advance, but walk-ins are welcome.

Celebrating 40 years, join the Erie County Wind Ensemble, tonight, Tuesday, July 23 at 7 pm for a Free concert on the Front Lawn of the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

Please note adjusted hours for the Kenmore Pool, 255 Mang Avenue this Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27. All are invited to the 63rd Annual Town Show, at the Kenmore Pool, presented by the Town of Tonawanda Aquettes on Saturday, July 27 at 7:30 pm.

Upcoming this week! Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23 join us for a performance by the Erie County Wind Ensemble as part of the Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series on the Front Lawn of the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

On Friday, July 26 we are excited to host our first Family Swim & Outdoor Movie Night. From 6 pm - 8 pm enjoy a discounted $5/per person family swim. Starting at 7pm the Girl Scouts of Western New York will be running Free activities and Lawn Games will be available. The Free screening of the Barbie movie will begin at dusk. Bring Lawn Chairs and a Blanket!

There will be food to purchase through the Tonawanda Titans Swim Club (Cash Only) including a $5 meal deal - hot dog, chips and a drink, and hair tinsels, braiding and face painting for a fee.

Save the Date and join us Tuesday, July 23 on the Front Lawn of the Aquatic and Fitness Center for a performance by the Erie County Wind Ensemble. Celebrating 40 years! It is sure to be a wonderful night of music. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

Snacks will be available for purchase (Cash only) by the Tonawanda Titans Swim Club.

One week from today is the first Outdoor Movie Night, Friday, July 26 on the Front Lawn of the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

From 6 pm - 8 pm the AFC is offering open swim for $5/person.
Tonawanda Titans Swim Club will be selling a $5 meal deal which includes a hot dog, chips and drink, in addition to snacks for the movie and glowsticks! CASH Sales only.

Beginning at 7 pm there will be activities on the Front Lawn with the Girl Scouts of Western New York. New Girls who register with the Girl Scouts will receive their first badge!

Hair by Natalie will be doing hair tinsels and braids, Cash or Venmo. Look your best for the Barbie Movie which will begin at dusk!

We are ready and waiting at Paddock Park! Come hang out and get some food, make some jewelry, play some games, we have hair braiding and tinsel, and a Drum Circle at 6:30!

The Town of Tonawanda Senior Center will be hosting an ice cream social and jazz concert on Friday, August 2 at 1:00 pm. Performing live are the The Barroom Buzzards a Traditional Jazz ensemble performing New Orleans Jazz, Swing, Blues, and more. Tickets must be purchased at the Senior Center at 291 Ensminger Rd. and are on sale thru July 26. Tickets are $4.00 for members and $6.00 for non-members. Questions? Call (716) 874-3266.

Have you been wanting to see what a community Drum Circle is all about? Join us Thursday, July 18 for our first Summer Unplugged event at Paddock Park, across from the Paddock Chevrolet Ice Arena. From 5 pm - 8 pm there will be Food, Lawn games to play, Board games to borrow, and more. Joining us will be Hair by Natalie offering Tinsel and Braids for purchase, and Charmed Boutique Buffalo, where you can purchase and create personalized jewelry.

From 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm all are welcome to join a community Drum Circle led by Ken Belote from KB Percussion Adventures. Ken has just recently retired from Kenmore West where he was the band director and also the director of the Drum Circle Club. Ken has led over 200 drum circles with youth and adults of all different ability levels and most of the time, the participants have never played the drums before. All drums are provided so don't worry if you don't have a drum. We will do many activities that will help you feel comfortable while being a part of the drum circle. You can drum, dance or just sit and observe. Please bring a chair.

Today during Arts in the Park at Kenney Park we had a special visit from the Brighton Volunteer Fire Co #5. Firefighter Ryan was our mystery reader and shared a book with the families, kids enjoyed checking out the firetruck and getting hats and coloring books and then had the opportunity to take out books from the Library Bookmobile. Check back for next week's mystery reader and Save the Date to join us!

The sun is out and the concert is a go at 7 pm tonight! Tonawanda Titans Swim Club will be selling snacks and drinks and our series sponsor WellNow Urgent Care will have a table set-up, come say hi!

Wednesday, July 17 the Library Bookmobile will be at Kenney Park from 10 am - noon. You can browse and check-out books and get a library card if you don't already have one. Brighton Volunteer Fire Co #5 will be making a special appearance with a fire truck and help with storytime! Come join the fun.

Reminder - The pool at the Aquatic and Fitness Center will be closed through July 19 for maintenance repairs. All AFC memberships and passes will be honored at the Lincoln and Mang Town of Tonawanda Outdoor Pools this week.

Today the Town of Tonawanda Senior Center enjoyed a hot dog lunch with all the fixins and a visit from Buddy's Second Chance Rescue and Ten Lives Club. Members helped to collect donations for each organization. It was a great afternoon.
