Habitat for Humanity Buffalo hits three more "home" runs. - Buffalo Rising Habitat for Humanity Buffalo (HfHB) has struck again. This time, the result is three new houses with three new homeowners. The three dwellings, located at 29 Minton St., 95 Pinehurst

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo is proud to have dedicated THREE newly constructed homes in one day at 29 Minton St., 95 Pinehurst Ave., and 83 Pinehurst Ave. This incredible milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to address the affordable housing crisis in Buffalo. 🏡❤️

These dedications wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our community, especially our amazing partners Marrano Homes and the George family. Their dedication and commitment to building strong, stable communities have been instrumental in making homeownership a reality for these families.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who came out—your record attendance truly made a difference! Together, we are building more than just houses; we are building hope, stability, and a brighter future for families in need.

A special congratulations to our three newest Habitat homeowners! We are so grateful for their willingness to share their stories, and we celebrate their dream coming true today. 🎉

Before the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020, the Big Difference team was very active in our community. They were one of the last groups to participate in a Habitat volunteer day before everything came to a halt. It took some time, but thanks to some amazing employees who volunteered their time to organize and reassemble this wonderful group, the Big Difference team is back and ready to make a (big) little difference in our community.

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing volunteers from the First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, St. Louis, who dedicated two weeks of their time to help several nonprofits, including Habitat for Humanity Buffalo, for six days! 🏡❤️

At the Bird Street build site, they worked tirelessly to build the second-floor walls. Over at the Winslow build site, they helped with siding and porch construction. They even spent time at the ReStore, assisting with various tasks.
