Mary have been at home on the West Side of Buffalo since the 1800's, when the mission there began with a small school in a simple wood frame home. The year 2013 marks the 150th Anniversary of the arrival of the first Sisters of St. It was an invitation in 1863 from Bishop Timon of the Diocese of Buffalo, that inspired the missionary spirit of five noble sisters from Namur, Belgium, who braved unim

Firefighter Jason Arno’s Flag have been carved and turned out amazing. Tony did a phenomenal job. Now onto finish and then delivery right after Easter.
This flag features reclaimed chestnut flooring that was locally sourced from Auburn Acres Hops Farm. The barn where the wood was used in was built in the 1880’s. Chestnut is a very rare wood that’s only found in old structures. Each stripe is milled from a piece of the flooring.
The union is made from reclaimed poplar flooring that’s from a home that was built in the early 1800’s in Wickliffe, Ohio. It was known as the Provo House.

Absolutely amazing!
I don't know if y'all will consider this wholesome or not...
But I've been working on this wire dragon sculpture for two years (958 total hours) and finally finished today. I actually finished the wire work a couple of weeks ago, but then I decided to oxidize and polish her...which was the part that I concluded today.
And I've had such an outpouring of support over the last two years...from family, friends, and a whole ton of internet "strangers"...to keep at it. I honestly don't know if I could have done it without them all cheering me on along the way. I even had a whole 9ish months where I didn't work on her at all because I was tired and stressed out at my day job and just didn't feel all that creative.
But every once in awhile someone would gently remind me that they were patiently waiting for a dragon update. And so I picked her back up again and I kept trudging forward to THIS day, a day of a hard earned victory. I'm proud of myself, but more than that I'm so very thankful for the people that believed in me even when I doubted myself!! 🥰💜
