Synovetin OA
Synovetin OA®: Up to 1 full year of OA pain relief with 1 simple treatment.
Had a really fun time with the MedVet Norwalk team participating in a great CE event on targeted therapies for osteoarthritis. Dr. Tyler Clough did an incredible job, supported by Medical Director Dr. Meredith Miller and nuclear med tech Nate Torres! Synovetin OA was proud to help sponsor this event and grateful for the opportunity to partner with MedVet! Looking forward to bringing more education and awareness to general practitioners about long-lasting OA pain relief!
This treatment was studied in canine elbows and can only be given by veterinarians at hospitals licensed in nuclear medicine. Temporary discomfort in the treated elbow of some dogs has been reported. Pet owners are provided instructions to moderate proximity to the treated joint for a short period of time following treatment. Fun times today with Dr. Eric Herman-owner and founder of Kinetic Veterinary Specialists in Clermont, Florida as he treated his first patients with Synovetin OA. Both dogs have bilateral elbow OA with synovial inflammation - perfect candidates! In mere minutes, Dr. Herman injected 4 joints, giving up to one full year of pain relief that targets the disease process at its source - targeted, nonsystemic, safe and easy. Great job Dr. Herman! If you’re a general practitioner or dog owner in the greater Orlando area using NSAIDs or other systemic drugs to manage OA pain, give Dr. Herman a call about Synovetin OA®!

Sunset Zoo helped provide Hakim, its 17-year-old Malayan Tiger with Synovetin OA® as part of his quality-of-life health plan.
Together with Synovetin OA, the zoo helped achieve another major milestone with the treatment to the 250 lb. tiger, who has osteoarthritis in both of his elbows, which has caused significant pain and mobility issues.

Some of the most popular dog breeds are affected by osteoarthritis, including German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, and Rottweilers.
This chronic disease can cause significant damage to the joint if not diagnosed and treated.
The main problem with OA is that it causes the progressive breakdown of the cartilage that cushions your dog's joint and enables him or her to run, jump, and play without pain.
The cartilage breakdown in OA is caused by inflammation of the thin membrane that lines the joint, called the synovium. Normally, the synovium produces fluid that lubricates and nourishes the joint; but in OA, this normal process is disrupted by inflammation. 🐕
