HELP:

I have a huge and urgent problem with my handcycle shifting system.

My SRAM system malfunctioned in Australia and I had to do about 2/3 of the race on only 2-3 gears. The “brain” of the system is dead.

I’ve had multiple vendors reaching out to SRAM about the Blipbox so I can replace it. There’s been a lot of confusing back and forth but it appears there might be a backorder into 2025 or even longer.

Can anyone reach out to the bike shops they know and see if there is one available in the stores? Online will tell you one thing but the dealers are seeing what I mentioned above.

Without it, I’m dead in the water. I can’t afford an entire new system(if we could even find one) as they are over $2,000. The part should be around $450 which we still need to resolve. Some might even have an additional system or part laying around. I’m happy to buy the part from you.

FYI: eBay is a BIG if on this. Amazon is misleading and they aren’t available.

I am scheduled for a para race with Para Endurance Coaching in 10 days and then, potentially, to do CLASH Endurance 12/1 in Daytona to qualify for the Long Distance Tri in Spain next year.
