The amount of clips I use is unmatched but you bet your 🫏 these (hand tied) wefts aren’t slipping!

These wefts are over a year old and this is the last time they will be worn. I did not do her color, we will be doing it next time-so let’s ignore that they’re not all rooted.

🌴 Mel came to me with matted rows, and broken hair across the point of contacts from an artist elsewhere. ⁣
🌴 I built her a foundation with the appropriate density for her fine hair texture to prevent further breakage, and installed her wefts with my hidden bead technique 🤫⁣

Why we decided to go with extensions-

She’s recently been under anesthesia, which for some people causes extra hair loss. She did experience that. With that we decided to stop coloring and go more lived in, and the extensions will add the desired color (and lost density) while her shed hair grows back.

👉🏻 We know that chlorine leaves a green cast in the hair. Did you know green cancels out red? This leaves your vibrant color looking dull and lifeless. ⁣

👉🏻 There are products that help combat this, ultimately try not to spend all of your time exposed! ⁣

🛑 I say this because I had her already light for about 5 years, and we’ve been doing just highlights the last few appointments to add some of her natural dimension back to slowly create the look. ⁣

Please know there’s times you won’t leave 100% to goal, but it’s a stepping stone to get there. & evaluate if that is something your lifestyle supports, if you will be happy wearing an in between color, and if you can come in regularly for sessions. ⁣

At home she uses moroccanoil shampoo/conditioner. Framesi purple shampoo. Deep conditioner, an oil twice a day, and regular treatments. That’s the life of a healthy blonde…gray 👱🏻‍♀️

🛑 It doesn’t stop here. Your color will NOT stay cool, and will always fade back warm without proper at home care. Did you buy it from Walmart, target, etc? Chances are it’s not what is the best to care for color. Why pay for great hair to lose it with cheap shampoo? Don’t do it! 🙅🏼‍♀️ ⁣
