Weβre thrilled to donate $1,000 to the John V Evans Elementary School in Burley, ID! Our Burley branches donated $500 and the Family of John V. Evans, Jr. matched the donation with another $500! This school, named after our former bank president and former Idaho Governor, will use the funds to purchase new books in both English and Spanish, supporting student literacy. ππ«ππ

What an amazing way to end our school year!!
Watching this years Senior Graduates walk through our school to help inspire our current young students to keep striving and learning. One day soon, they will be doing the same thing and pass on the goal of High School Graduation.
Congratulations to the PE Department for the $1400 profit donation from our Field Day Concessions!! ππ
We will miss Mrs. Kleopfer, but these funds are available for the next PE Teacher to help fund the upcoming school year within the PE Department.

Our library at John V Evans Elementary School just received a check for $1000 to help support our students' education.
DL Evans Bank donated $500 ($250 from North Branch and $250 from South Branch), and the family of John V Evans, Jr., matched the donation with $500.
We are so grateful and can't wait to see all the smiles on the students' faces when they enter the library next school year and see it full of new books.

Thursday, May 23rd is the last day of school for all students 1st-6th grade. It is an early release day at 12:30 pm.
Wednesday, May 22nd is the last day of school for all Kindergarten students!
Tomorrow is our School Wide Talent Show at 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm in the GYM.
Thursday, May 16th is Art Club. It will be a project that is sent home to be completed. It will not be a part of field day stations.
Reminder: Thursday, May 16th, is Field Day!
Please have your students dress appropriately. It will be 80 degrees, and some stations involve water. Wear sunscreen, a hat, and wear tennis shoes and clothes that are okay to get wet.
Thursday is Field Day! Be sure to send your student with money so they can help support the PE Department with the purchase of concessions. Here is the listing and pricing of everything available during Field Day!
Who has the best Princi"PAL"? We have the best pal in our school. Mr. Seely taking time out of his lunch to play soccer with our students. What a better way to begin the end of the school year!
Field Day is coming up on Thursday, May 16th!
There will be activities for students to participate in, so please be sure to dress accordingly: sunscreen, tennis shoes, & water bottles.
Concessions will also be available, so please send money with your students. All concession money funds the PE Department!

Our amazing annual Chalk the Walk is Sunday, MAY 5th at 6:00 pm.
Join us in celebrating our teachers in kicking off Teacher Appreciation Week by filling the sidewalks of our school with kind messages full of thanks and appreciation for our teachers. Draw pictures and create a hopscotch for them to complete on their way into the building.
Get creative and spread some gratitude. Chalk will be provided, or feel free to bring your own.
Our final PTO & Parent Meeting for this school year will be held Friday, May 3rd, at 11:00 am. We encourage your review of this school year and ideas for next year! Thank you all whom have volunteered in any over this 2023-2024 school year! We could not have done it without your assistance and support!
Thursday, May 2nd, is the final Dollar Day and Spirit Day of the 2023-2024 school year.
Bring money for treats at lunch recess and wear your bobcat green or Spirit Gear to see if your class wins the most Spirit for the final time this year!
Does your student have a talent they would like to showcase in front of the school?? The School Wide Talent Show Auditions are this week in the Music Room during lunch recess.
This is for Grades 1st through 6th to audition during their lunch recess Wednesday MAY 1st and Thursday May 2nd this week.
The School Wide Talent Show will be the afternoon of MAY 21st. Time to be determined.
Parents!! We are showing our teachers gratitude with a potluck lunch on Tuesday, May 7 at 10:30 am, for Teacher Appreciation Week. We would love for your support and appreciation to be shown as well with a dish you can supply for lunch.

Thursday, April, 25th is the LAST 2nd grade Math Mania for this school year! Bring your family, learn some fun math games, and celebrate the love of learning math!
Tomorrow is Art Club at lunch recess. This month's project is Kites!
How do you say, "Welcome to our country?" Join us for Cultural Night April 18th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
You will travel to 8 different countries to learn how they say, "Welcome to our country!" Sample some of their delicious foods and educate your family on different traditions from each country.
It is a free and fun family night out! Do not miss it, April 18, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Friday, April 12, 2024, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm is Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 School year.
Requirements for Registration:
1) Student who is being registered.
2) Birth Certificate of student.
3) Up to date shot record of student.
4) Proof of residency such as electricity bill.
Any further questions, feel free to call the school between 8 am and 3 pm.
Friday, April, 5th is our monthly PTO and Parent Meeting in the library at 10:00am. Join us as we discuss our plans for the remainder of the year!
