👋🥳 Happy birthday to Eric! ✨️ Eric has worked at Conant Metal & Light as a Contract Manufacturing Technician for almost a year; His hire anniversary is coming up next week! Eric is from Middlebury, Vermont, and lived in Montana, Washington, and Oregon before coming back to the Green Mountain State. ⛰️🍂 In high school, Eric's art teacher inspired him to attend Johnson State College for Art Education. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology and worked as a mechanic for many years. Eric loves working with his hands, whether that be cooking, restoring old cars, gardening, or making art. 🌱🔧🖼 He likes seeing old objects restored and functional again and is inspired by other creative people. Eric is a father to three sons who are all creative in their own ways and make him proud. 🥰✨️

We designed this fun chandelier for the lobby of a apartment complex in Burlington's Old North End.

Looking closely, you can tell details changed a bit between the original drawing and the final design. 🔧✨️🪁

📸 We love well-loved brass! And we love restoring brasswork for our clients. 💫

Over time, teal oxidation changed the look of this heirloom. Oxidation can be pretty, but a careful cleaning revealed its delicate design. Now it's practically glowing, front and center on the bookshelf! 🥰📚🌟

❣️🍺 We made a gorgeous chandelier for the Von Trapp Brewing Bierhall Restaurant von Trapp Brewing in 2016. ✨️

If we may say so, the materials and textures go together perfectly. Hand-forged metalwork and cast glass = *chef kiss*​ 🥂.

🕯Today would've been Wayne Courcy's 77th birthday.🕯Our friend passed away last year and is dearly missed. 💗
For nearly 40 years, Wayne was a dedicated member of the Soda Plant community. He was one of our first tenants, opening a used furniture store and then Ironworks Gym. For the past 20 years, Wayne served as the Soda Plant's Building Manager. He was friendly with the building's tenants and good friends with their dogs-- and other animals, as pictured. He made a routine of delivering treats to his pals. 🐾💖

This fixture combines history and contemporary design, and no two Snath Linears are exactly the same. The curved wooden snath was once attached to a long steel blade and used to harvest crops. 🚜🌾 We do not typically include the blade but have made exceptions for clients bringing in their own antique. 🌞

Local glass artist Jackie Bishop Jackie Bishop // visual artist helped us with the sconces that flank the entryway. She created the kiln-fired glass shades, which curve around the tall bulb and diffuse the light. 🌛🌟

We lighten these loops using brass wool. 🧽 This process creates a finish we call Antique Brass! It isn't super shiny like polished brass, but rather looks perfectly aged. 🌙🕯🪞🪝🌞
