I have so much respect for vintage linens. The clean pressed white cotton, crocheted fine lace, and beautiful delicate embroidery. So much work went into these pieces of perfection.
Love cats? I am in love with this brooch. The detail in all the layers is amazing. I would love to know more about it.

Let's see how well you know your pearls. What type of pearl this is?
Do you own a stand of pearls? My mind associates pearls with many great ladies of the past. Such a classic look.
Busy creating an eBay store to sell some beautiful jewlery. https://www.ebay.com/str/timelesswondersnj
Just added last night at Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium . All red lines in great condition. They have been selling fast, go check them out now!
Anyone up for some curling?
Put a heart in the comments, if you know what it is.
Its all how you look at it. I was flipping it all around. This little charm had attached itself to a beaded bracelet, when I took it off, It took me a minute to figure out what it.
Do you know?
To my Jewish friends, please tell me more.
Being an antique dealer is not about the money. I will probably ask $8 for this item, so after purchase cost, cleaning, researching. store rent, store commissions etc. I have lost money.
However I have gained knowledge. How neat is this. I will be on the lookout for them now.
I now know this is a A mezuzah (Hebrew: מְזוּזָה "doorpost"; plural: מְזוּזוֹת mezuzot) is a piece of parchment called a klaf contained in a decorative case and inscribed with specific Hebrew verses from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4–9 and 11:13–21[1]). These verses consist of the Jewish prayer Shema Yisrael, beginning with the phrase: "Hear, O Israel, the Lord (is) our God, the Lord is One". In mainstream Rabbinic Judaism, a mezuzah is affixed to the doorpost of Jewish homes to fulfill the mitzvah (Biblical commandment) to "write the words of God on the gates and doorposts of your house" (Deuteronomy 6:9). Some interpret Jewish law to require a mezuzah in every doorway in the home[2] except bathrooms (which are not a living space), laundry rooms and closets, if they are too small to qualify as rooms.[3] The klaf parchment is prepared by a qualified scribe ("sofer stam") who has undergone training, both in studying the relevant religious laws, and in the more practical parts i.e. carving the quill and practising writing. The verses are written in black indelible ink with a special quill pen made either from a feather or, in what are now rare cases, a reed. The parchment is then rolled up and placed inside the case.
Most of the jewlery requires some loving care before I can take it to the stores to sell. I look forward to cleaning and researching this piece.
"Jars of time" Many items in our business get recycled. All watches that I can't sell get put into jars. I then sell the full jar. They sell very quickly. Great for people who repair watches, or crafters .
What is OES ?
Going through watches from estate sales. I always learn something. I now know, Do you?
Heaps of Hot Wheels Redline cars added to our booth at Historic Burlington Antiques Emporium Booth #78
Caught red handed!! ADDING awesome vintage Hot wheels Redlines colectible cars to our booth #78
I wait in the car, but the shirt is still correct 🤣🤣🤣
Ouch!! Feels good to get stuff done in the store, but it's hard work. Today we worked on our spots at Antiques Market On High also located in Burlington NJ. I also have a scrapbook/crafting booth upstairs in this store.
Today we overhauled our Booth #78 In Burlington NJ at Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium we took lots of items away, to make room for all the items we brought in. Be sure to stop in soon.
Shawn is on vacation (🤣🤣) this week from Job #1. We spent the day completely overhauling our booth at Liberty Antiques and Collectibles in Hamilton NJ. Lots of new items added.
Do you collect Miss Martha figurines?
We just purchased over 100 New "Old stock". They are so cute!!
Miss Martha's The All God's Children line of African Americanfigurines has won the hearts of thousands worldwide. It all began in 1985 when southern memory folk artist Martha Holcombe-Root, affectionately known as Miss Martha, sculpted her first black figurines and christened them with the name All God's Children . Each figurine is faithfully reproduced from Miss Martha's original sculpts, individually handcrafted with a blend of crushed pecan shells and resin and is proudly made in USA. Each delightful sculpture has its own unique personality and story.
When I sort jewlery to sell, I take a lot of time to clean and authenticate. Unfortunately there are so many replicas. Many pieces marked 925 (Sterling silver) are not. Often they are stainless steel, so the quick magnet check will not work. This is today's replica. You can tell right away but the sound as you move it in your hands, and the quality. Tiffany pieces are solid and blemish free. I don't see that this is even a style they sell.
Does vintage jewlery make you smile?
I do. I have been sorting lots of jewlery to completely switch out my jewlery displays after Christmas, to get ready for valentines. I came across this embroidered Brooch with a mirror on the back. Made me smile.
