and I repped the Dime last night at Art All Night as volunteers.
Because of us, the event went smoothly and everyone enjoyed the vibe.🤣
The venue was amazing and the atmosphere was electric right from the start.
We enjoyed meeting and being introduced to who really lit up the room.

Rachel Bunting is a writer, mixed media artist, & Certified Forest Therapy Guide rooted in the wilds of South Jersey. She believes that art, as a reflection of the human condition, is intricately connected to the world we live in, and she seeks to more intimately explore that intersection of humanity, nature, and art. In her visual art, Rachel works with cyanotype, resin, and natural or found objects, as well as nature-based games. She has a vaguely unhinged fascination with birds.

Edward’s fascination with the arts was sparked by his experiences living in New York City during the 80s, laying the foundation for his journey into creativity. Following retirement in 2020, he ventured into self-expression through art, starting with photography and exploring various mediums and techniques. While hesitant to label himself as an “artist,” he hopes to inspire others to embrace their creative instincts. He expresses gratitude for the support and inspiration of the Dime Studio community.

Elizabeth Cousins is a N.J. based artist focused on painting and photography. Their work deals with gender fluidity, the deconstruction of boundaries, and ancestral relationships.

Lord’Kala, a 27-year-old multidisciplinary artist from Trenton, NJ, channels his life experiences into his vibrant art. Utilizing symbolism, he communicates a range of emotions and ideas through his work. His creative approach emphasizes research, art history, and culture which allows him to experiment with a variety of styles.

Pierre Jean-Louis is a 30-year-old self-taught artist based in New Jersey. He focuses on creating vibrant fantasy, Afroristic, landscape art.

Brígh is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in design, illustration, art direction, and 2D animation. A jack of all trades and master of none, they experiment with many different mediums, tools and sources of inspiration. Brígh is passionate about storytelling, linguistics and spending time at the studio!

William Margaretta has long admired the beauty of nature, cities, people, and everything life has to offer. He takes life’s moments and memories to create images that embody everyday experiences. He creates works primarily in oils, but also does pastels, watercolors, and wood carvings.

Born and raised in NJ. Joe Hughes is a local artist currently painting at his studio in Burlington, NJ.

“Whether plein air or from photos, I paint for the joy of painting and in the hope of grabbing and keeping the viewer’s attention. My goal is to express a subject with minimal detail and allow the viewer’s own experience drive their reaction.”

Mandi Magnuson-Hung makes hand cut collages with images taken from used magazines and books. They’ve been described as “kind of weird,” “beautiful,” and “dubious.” A large part of her practice is calming her brain and getting out of her own way in order to create something new. Her background is in music and history, so you may see that imagery peeking out at you. If she’s not in the studio she’s probably at a museum, a park, or covered in cats.

When you stop by the studio on May 3rd, you can observe or jump right in and make your own collage. Mandi will bring the paper and glue, you bring your imagination.
