Patience visited me
And it reminded me
That good things take time to come to fruition
And grow slowly with stability

Peace visited me
And it reminded me
That I may remain calm through the storms of life
Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me
And it reminded me
That better times lay ahead
And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me
And it reminded me
That I may achieve it
Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less
But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me
And it reminded me
To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself
And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me
And it reminded me
To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents
In order to make others feel more comfortable
But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me
And it reminded me
That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me
Are not my problem
And I should redirect my attention
From others back to me

Freedom visited me
And it reminded me
That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing
But me

And love visited me
And it reminded me
That I need not search for it in others
As it lies within me.

Haven't uploaded any work for awhile on here. Been very busy though, spent the last two months sub contracting through another shop. Really loved the workload, but most of all I enjoyed the learning experience for my art and business. Thanks for your continued support, it means a lot to me

Hi welcome to my page! My name is Olivia Grandelis, I'm a tattoo artist, cosmetic tattoo artist, and painter. I have been tattooing for about fifteen years and apprenticed under Russle Cricks at Pigments of Your Imagination. I've picked the name Althea Ink because I think it has a beautiful meaning behind it! Heres what came up when I looked it up. "Healer; Wholesome. Althea comes from the Greek name Althaea, possibly from althos which means “healing.” Althea is the goddess of healing and compassion. She inspires people to trust in the triumph of good, to undertake compassion and mercy, and to support one's community and family. She provides the comfort of healing as she provides the comfort of the hearth and a loving home." Over the last 15 years of tattooing I very much love it's healing qualities, I believe tattoos hold power and in the process and recieving them they can help unburden and shed old emotions. My roots are also part Greek, Grandelis means great mountain (fun fact). Thanks for taking the time to read, I'll keep updating this page and adding my art work over the next couple of days.
