Picture perfect.
Under da sea!
Bridget Kathleen ( ) is an amazing photographer/artist who makes my cakes look so SO much better. If you are an expecting momma and desire to capture the most precious first moments and delicate intricacies, you NEED ! If you are in search for the perfect smash cake experience, she's your gal.
Thanks for trusting me Bridget to make these cakes for your precious blessing and sharing a few of your photos with me.
Sometimes you gotta let the florals do their thang...and I like it.
For the first time I didn't want my cupcakes/cake to stand out. Rather, after resting the meaningful topper in place, I was grateful that its purpose was to elevate such a significant piece of history.
Here is an under-ordered element...wafer paper florals. When I have freedom to design a cake I typically try to wiggle wafer florals in; they are almost therapeutic to make, diverse, long lasting, and one of a kind.
I love FLOWERS!!!!
Flower power βοΈ
Serious deer.
PARTY deer!!!
Whatever mood this Monday brings you, just remember that this deer is painted with buttercream!!
Did you know that...
Bees have 5 eyes.
Male bees in the hive are called drones.
Bees fly about 20 mph.
Female bees in the hive (except the queen) are called worker bees.
Number of eggs laid by queen: 2,000 per day is the high.
Bees eat cake.
1. Wafer paper floral spray.
2. Buttercream floral cupcakes.
3. Buttercream brush embroidery.
What a BEAUTIFUL combination!
My only disappointment is that I couldn't snag many pics since I staged everything behind the scenes. Sooooooo, I'm going to stalk the bride for her wedding photos π¬βΊοΈ
It's a jungle out there.
So make sure to pack some cake.
Bring on the flowers!
What's up succa? π΅
You may be thinking...oh, those are cute little cupcakes...and they are... butttttt what I love the most about them is that the strawberries are buttercream! My goal was to make edible strawberry stickers: and as a buttercream-lover, fondant avoider, I fell in love. π
I would like to introduce you to my spirit animal.
A candid photo of an iconic pair of sisters.
Ka-chow!

I'm BACK!
For the 5 people who may have noticed, I've been pretty silent on the social media world. That's because Little Cake House has MOVED!
After a WHOLE bunch of saving, a lot of praying, and some perfectly placed people, we decided to build a house that better suited our family's (and cake's) needs. We are still in Caledonia, just a bit closer to M6, and gained a few acres of land. This house is an absolute dream and I'm looking forward to showing it off to anyone who grabs a cake.
I also decided to resurface with this cake that was made for a special friend of the family. This lady patiently waited for the perfect man and I was honored to share in her wedding through this humble cake.
Now that we've moved (well sorta ..we still have no furniture) I'll do my best to post work more consistently. Thanks everyone for hanging in there with me!
Ooo la la!
Anyone else watching the big game? GO Taylor!!
Vintage + Buttercream Florals = Pure Magic
When a lady gets a cake, you go all out!
I'm slightly obsessed with this one. After pulling inspiration from the store, and a client's request to include a high heel, I designed this ensemble. I decided to throw everything at this cake: buttercream texture and stencil, rice paper sails with pearl accents, abstract wafer paper flowers and a leopard print, fondant high heel. Eek!!! It came together just as my brain imagined it.
Winter.
It can be pretty.
If you're eating cake...
And drinking coffee...
And sitting by a fire...
At a 5-star hotel...
In Paris.
Hello.
I'd like to introduce you to my personal panic attack every time I enter non-chlorinated waters.
The grin I've plastered on my face while I'm swallowed alive in snow.
My exact feelings about this approaching winter storm.
New Year.
More Cake.

Our Story
My name is Brianna, the owner, baker, and cake decorator for Little Cake House. From my little home in Caledonia, Michigan I opened this business with the desire to make detailed, one-of-a-kind cakes that are flawlessly executed and taste amazing. I baked for hours (and helped my family gain a few extra pounds) to perfect the best recipes; simply to ensure a tall, sturdy, show-stopping cake for decorating as well as a soft, moist cake for enjoying. My cakes are made with humble ingredients that enable their natural flavors to shine.
I work out of the comfort of my home in hopes that you feel like family when you step through the front door. I value the time it takes to invest in your life and create a cake that you love and will remember.
