The Lord called our dear brother, Ray Schluectermann, home this past Saturday morning, April 27th. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his sons, Tobby and Trad, and the entire Schluectermann family - may the Lord grant comfort and peace to them during this time knowing his faith in Jesus has now turned to sight. Looking out toward the last pew on the right side of the sanctuary where Ray would sit will never be the same. He will be dearly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dale and Janice Rovik and Julie and Carl Harrison, along with their entire family as they mourn the loss of Dale and Julie's mother, Delores. Delores went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours on Friday, April 26th. May they find comfort and peace in the thought that she is in Heaven with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

From (our) Pastor Mark's time to speak at Calvary Memorial Church's Good Friday service tonight: "On reflection on calling this day, Good Friday. What Good could come of this day? The only truly good person who ever lived died an ignominious death on this day. What Good could come of this day? Punishment was administered on the good for works of the evil. What Good could come of this of this day? The guilty were given goodness without merit. What Good could come of this day? The righteous Son of God offered His life that we can obtain true goodness. That is why it can be called Good Friday."

Thank you to all involved in making our Women's Winter Lasagna Luncheon a great success. The delicious menu included salad, lasagna, mini cheesecakes, and cookies served by the wonderful men of our congregation. We had a wonderful time of fellowship, worship and hearing Vicki speak on God's Strength.

We had lots of fun back on New Year's Eve with our Pizza and Game night. We played Yahtzee, Telestrations, Uno, Point Salad, (and one more I cannot remember name of game.) We have promised to have another one very soon.

Since a majority of our congregation are older, others are ill or getting over being ill, recovering from surgery and we don't want to put any at risk with the cold temperatures with a wind chill, we have decided to postpone our planned morning service for January 14th to next Sunday. Stay warm, stay safe. Worship the Lord with all your heart, with all your strength and with all your mind.

Praying for our dear sister Bev who had emergency gallbladder surgery earlier today that she will have a speedy recovery.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

Join us this Sunday morning, December 24th at our 10 am service as we celebrate our Savior's birth. We'd love to see you there.

The Ladies got together this Wednesday for some holiday crafting - candy sleighs. If I had been able to be there I don't think mine would have made the ride home. I would have been in my tummy.

The ladies who came for the monthly crafting event this past Wednesday afternoon painted some mighty pretty pictures. Thank you, Karen for leading the class. Great job, ladies.

A good time was had by all who joined us at our campfire worship service this past Sunday night October 29th. It was nice to have JJ Rea join us tonight and play his guitar alongside Dale. Smores were sweet, but not as sweet as the fellowship.

Praising Jesus for the redemptive work he has done on the cross for us.
So exciting for Amanda, Karen and Richard who are being baptized during this morning's service.
