We compare our prices with the same items at local grocery stores to ensure our prices are always the same or lower.

As a nonprofit, our focus isn’t on profit margins but on making food more affordable and accessible for everyone.

We know that our shoppers work hard to put good food on their table so we want to work just as hard to help make that happen!

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭,
Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, and Congressman Jim McGovern at our Roxbury store to talk about a critical issue: food insecurity.

Together, we highlighted how organizations like Daily Table and programs like Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), which gives SNAP customers 50% off fresh fruits and veggies, help thousands of families put nutritious meals on the table. Though recent funding challenges have paused this program at some locations, we’re grateful to the City of Cambridge (Official) for keeping DUFB going at our Central Square store and to the City of Boston's Office of Food Justice for working with us to get the program reinstated at our Boston locations as soon as possible.

Government partnerships AND community support are essential to ending food insecurity and sustaining the Daily Table mission. We're so grateful.

🎭✨ Last night was a fantastic evening at Cosentino’s beautiful showroom in the Seaport, hosted by IFDA. The masquerade theme set the perfect backdrop for delicious tapas and wine pairings, bringing together community and creativity in support of Daily Table. We’re so grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm shown—proceeds from this fun-filled night will help us continue providing affordable, nutritious food to those in need. Thanks to the generosity of over 70 donors, we have already raised more than $110,000 toward reinstating the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program at our Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, and Salem stores. With many families in Massachusetts struggling with food insecurity, Daily Table has set up several non-profit grocery stores in Greater Boston to try and connect families with fresh, healthy food at a price that won't break the bank account.

One of their most popular programs provides shoppers on with a significant discount on fresh fruits and vegetables, but that program has unexpectedly been forced to stop, which is already putting families in a difficult position.

Sasha Purpura, CEO of Daily Table, talks with Nichole this week about what happened and how the community can help make sure everyone can stay nourished.

We have exciting news! The Ajana Family Foundation, a longstanding partner in our mission, has generously offered a $50,000 MATCH to support the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program, which gives SNAP customers 50% off fresh fruits and vegetables. Here’s the catch: we only unlock the $50,000 if we can raise $50,000 by the end of this week.

We’ve already seen 37 friends step up, and now we’re asking, will you join them?

The issue is urgent. Due to an unexpected shortfall in funding, the DUFB program has been paused. This program is a lifeline for the 3,000 families on SNAP we serve every week, making healthy, fresh food more affordable.

With the program paused, your neighbors are not able to purchase fruits and vegetables for their families.

In two or three words, how would you describe Daily Table? "If I could describe it, I would say it's good for people who don't have a lot of money. The fruit is fresh. And the price is very good. And the service too."

What are your favorite products to buy here? "Fruit and meat. They should keep opening more stores!"
