Congratulations to our alum, Jateen Lad, who was awarded a prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects International Award for Excellence 2024 for his Sharanam Centre for Rural Development in south India.
This award is considered one of architecture’s highest global accolades, celebrating buildings from around the world that demonstrate visionary thinking, design excellence and social impact.
The judges praised the project’s “exceptional beauty, functionality and tranquillity” and consider it “a world class exemplar for the future of low cost, innovative and green community buildings.”
