Ok, so I'm gonna be honest.. this completely caught me by surprise! I did not expect to be nominated this year. I have been pretty absent with social media and have not been marketing myself or my business the way I used to. I'm a one woman show and wear ALL the hats in this business I've built. I don't have much time at the end of appts for photoshoots because my next one is usually already here. At the end of the day, I'm extremely busy and social media has not been my priority. I take pride in creating a relaxing and comfortable environment for my guests where they feel beautiful, cared for and safe to fully be themselves. My guests mean the world to me and I have been focusing on my genuine connections and well being. The fact that you guys continue to show up for me and support me, truly means the world. Today marks 4 years since I opened the doors to my studio! It was by far the best thing I ever did for myself and my guests! I've been keeping a little secret.. Last year I was given an amazing opportunity to live out a dream doing hair for the runways of NYFW. It was one of the most challenging, yet best experiences and opportunities of my life. I met some amazing people and made some great connections along the way. Well, that opportunity opened a golden door.. because at this time next year, I'll be preparing to fly to PARIS FASHION WEEK to work with a runway hair design team!!! I am SO beyond excited for this, you have no idea. I could've only imagined this being my life in my wildest dreams, yet here we are. I can't wait to be able to share this adventure with you guys!
