Young, new medical students across the nation have donned their first white coats of their medical career. This includes our 2020 cohort of PMAs, Arthur, Josephine, Nidhi, and Meg. We celebrate this exciting benchmark in their medical journey.
The white coat is an emblem of trust and professionalism to both physicians and patients; a reminder that medical decisions are based on scientific facts which are only to be used in an effort to heal and better the health of their patients. Congratulations to all the white coats!

A common test ordered by physicians to diagnose PAD is the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) test. It is a simple, non-invasive test which utilizes blood pressure cuffs to compare pressures in the arms and the legs. .

Every July, newly-minted 'Student Doctors' begin their road to becoming a physician as they head off to medical school. This summer, we send off three of our current PMAs, Arthur, Josephine, and Meg , and one former PMA, Nidhi (not pictured) with a very bittersweet and fond farewell! As soon as the call comes in from the dialysis center, we begin coordinating our team for timely care. For our patients, many times that means a drive straight to our clinic for access maintenance. Quick coordination makes happy patients who feel better.
