Our Story

My name is Sheila Sasse. I have lived in Oregon most of my life. I have deep roots here in the Willamette Valley especially. My interests have always included home decor, crafting, gardening, and just basically expressing my creative nature.

Recently an opportunity came up that would enable me to share my experience in and enthusiasm for making the world a little more beautiful one project at a time.

I call my style "glintage" because I love all things glamorous and alluring. I am also an advocate for reusing things other folks toss aside. There is joy and satisfaction in making something pretty from something worn out, tired, and perhaps dated.

Vintage items are also of special interest to me. Especially for people "of a certain age", vintage items often conjure sentimental and happy memories. Combining these two elements vintage and glamour makes for unique and I think exciting designs.

I have used my last name and I must confess, my irreverent personality to brand my style and convey what I am trying to really express through my creations.

To me, being sassy means having confidence with who you are, having a sense of humor and a willingness to embrace what makes you happy. I hope you will join me in this process of finding your own sassy nature. You won't be sorry!

And of course I can't forget about my partner in this endeavor. I have had Meridith Fischer as a friend since we were both Freshmen in High School. That is about a 35 year relationship. She offers her own flavor of sassy to our business. We will be sharing more about our life and times as we move through this adventure.

Our business has different facets. Currently we have a full schedule of crafting classes being held at Wade Creek House Antiques (WCH). We will be selling our hand crafted "glintage" items in a space at WCH beginning May 1 2017. We attend various markets including two outdoor vintage markets sponsored by WCH. We are also hoping to establish a custom class operation whereby we are willing to set up crafting classes for groups of interested students. We can host classes at WCH or off-site based on the group.
