Our team at Dudley Builders would like to extend our thanks to all our customers and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Dudley Builders finishing up a major kitchen renovation of a home built in 1912. Padding and protection of site, demo of existing kitchen and powder room which included removing old timbers and replacing as new, removing old k**b and tube wiring and replacing with updated electrical lines and fixtures along with new Marvin windows and slider. The kitchen is over an unheated garage. In order to keep the cold from coming up through the floor and also heat loss, we installed new sleepers and closed cell insulation on the floor along with radiant heat under the new quarter sawn oak flooring. A big thank you to the Architect who made this project come to life. Tom Murdough of Murdough Design based out of Boston created the perfect space and functionality of this kitchen and powder room and worked closely with Dudley Builders to make sure the project not only exceeded expectations, but also making the design in line with what the homeowner was looking for. It was a pleasure working with him and his firm. We would also like to thank Heather Kahler of Downsview Kitchens of Boston for another amazing design of this kitchen and the cabinets that were installed. The Island has 1 3/4" edge grain white oak countertop which along with the solid slab of granite on the backsplash behind the stove area and countertops makes it stand out spectacular.

Dudley Builders not only does kitchen and baths, we do whole house remodels. This is a recent project we have completed on a Penthouse in Boston which included a kitchen, two baths, bedroom, living room, dining room and family room. Downsview of Boston's former designer Erica Brady worked tirelessly with us to create a very creative look that blended with the homeowners style and needs and it turned out incredible! Rachel Murphy of Downsview of Boston who took over for Erica, continued with the design and finishing touches of this amazing penthouse. Thank you both for teaming up Dudley Builders to create this masterpiece!

Back in November we posted a pic of starting some demo on a Brownstone in Charlestown MA. We are finally able to post some pics of the kitchen we did with hardwood flooring that turned out incredible. The hardwood flooring was very complicated and tedious, the end result is something to be admired. Thanks to Heather Kahler of Downsview Kitchens of Boston, the design on this turned out one of a kind!

Felton Pervier, a Senior Design Consultant for Christopher Peacock (www.peacockhome.com) was the designer for this kitchen and Butlers Pantry in Weston, MA that Dudley Builders just recently installed. As you can see from the photos there is a lot of work involved with the design phase, delivery phase, unpacking phase, installation phase, appliance phase and final handles and adjustments. The outcome? Another beautiful Kitchen by Christopher Peacock!
