This cake is delicious!

Playing with some recipes today. Here we have a blueberry reduction cooling so it can be added to a buttercream frosting.

Homemade oatmeal cream pies. Recipe for both the cookies and the cream need some tweaks but definitely found a nice base recipe to mess with.

It's been a minute since I have made cheesecake bites so I made some for my fellow employees for our last day of summer camp at the Y. In the first picture there's banana butterscotch, banana bacon, chocolate bacon, and chocolate butterscotch. In the second one there is chocolate mint, chocolate candy, apple cinnamon, and plain.

Another order going out tonight. A dozen each of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting.

Happy Sunday morning. What's everyone up to today? We are enjoying homemade strombolis and pepperoni rolls for brunch while cleaning for company this week. Hope you enjoy your day!

What we have today at Ohio Hippies Smoke Shop!

Just one of the many things I will have Wednesday Ohio Hippies Smoke Shop: chocolate muffins stuff with chocolate chip cookie dough.

Hubby has been playing with some bread recipes. Rum raisin bread (raisins were soaked in some Kraken) with rum in the dough and topped/soaked with a Kraken rum glaze.

The oldest is playing with cookie cakes. Still working on our decorating.

The hubby made a fun new pudding cookie: banana split made with banana pudding, butterscotch and chocolate chips, and walnuts. Great with some vanilla ice cream!

I'd like to take a moment to apologize for us being so quiet recently. We have still been creating. We as a household have been horrible at remembering to get pictures. I also recently started a new job that has me learning a whole new routine than I am used to. I promise we will get more postings up especially after we get through this week. Also, we are preparing for a show on July 10th in Alliance Ohio Ohio Hippies Smoke Shop. We hope to see you there!!!

Corbin made their first completely scratch made pie with apples and peaches today.

I have been hoarding veggies scraps in my freezer for a while now. Today is broth day!

Thought ahead this morning and made a homemade batch of spaghetti sauce in the instant pot on the slow cooker setting (I love being able to saute and then cook everything in the same pot). Corbin kept an eye on for me and added some stew meat. Served with fettuccine noodles and some buttered bread.

Hubby has been playing with recipes and found a new one for buns.

Been playing with savory recipes. These are chicken parm bites to go with cheese stuffed shells for dinner tonight.

Tried a fun frozen treat. It's basically a blended chocolate peanut butter banana.

Caramel apple cheesecake bites: half have caramel apple cookie crust and topped with the fried bacon and caramel sauce; the other half with cinnamon roll crust and topped with diced cinnamon rolls and cream cheese drizzle.

Turned the breading ingredients into a batter for smaller pieces. Not sure which way I prefer yet.

Trying out the chicken fried bacon for a cheesecake idea... Did a spicy sweet flavor.
