🪶Over the weekend, my sister and I had the incredible experience of attending our first powwow in Lebanon, IN, with our dear friend who is part Native American. We even had the honor of participating! Watching the women dance gracefully and the men with spirited energy, all moving to the rhythm of the drum—earth’s heartbeat—was truly magical. We learned about the different dances, like the ‘fancy’ dancers and the ‘bell’ dancers, each with its unique style. This experience was a beautiful reminder of the richness of diversity and the importance of embracing it. 🪶

There’s something truly magical about the radiant smiles and kind souls of Reiki practitioners. Their gentle energy lights up the world, offering healing and peace to all who cross their paths. ✨💛

Wow! Tiffany, Keyona, and I had the pleasure this weekend to do a Reiki demonstration for prominent Black men in the community…all thanks to Voices’ commitment to heal the community! Most of the men never had Reiki done before and were surprised how relaxing and calming it was. The men were also intrigued by the accuracy in which we received information about their inner well-being. We learned so much from the men as they provided us with great feedback and recommendations.
