Good news my friend, after almost 4 years of hard work, our patent application about the Allerbi bike was granted by the USPTO on August 20th, 2024!

On today's exercise bike market, you probably have heard "connect bike" many times. The "connect" means internet connection, basically, a connect bike needs internet connection for full functioning.

So what happened if the internet connection gets lost or the connection is slow? Well, they are in trouble. You probably can still ride the bikes, but you won't get the expected features you want.

Allerbi is different (see, another difference), Allerbi is full functional even without internet connection. That means you can still ride the world and enjoy the view in any situation you can imagine.

So you don't need to worry about video quality and smoothness, you don't need to worry about the route stuck while you pedaling like crazy, everything is normal, just ride, just enjoy!

As more and more people get to know Allerbi, we also get more and more questions about it.
One frequently asked question is about the two displays of Allerbi, so below is a quick clarification:
Different from all other exercise bikes on the market, the Allerbi bikes have two screens for different purposes, or say, they display different content.
* The big screen is dedicated for road view, you need to get it separately, it is not included in the package. You can use whatever you already have or purchase a new one, it can be a projector or a TV as long as it has an HDMI interface.
* The small screen is for bike control like selecting route and displaying data like riding speed, etc. It is a 7" touch screen and attached to the bike, you cannot buy it separately.
Basically the Allerbi bike setting is like a real bike, you have a small monitor attached to handlebar for data, and you have a clear and clean road ahead of you, you don't see data on road when you ride outdoors, right? :)

Introducing Allerbi Core, the latest addition to our lineup! The original Allerbi Bike that has appeared in many pictures has a new name called Allerbi Upright.

Designed for riders who already have their bikes and smart trainers, Allerbi Core offers an immersive and realistic outdoor riding experience. Powered by the same computer and touch screen as Allerbi Upright, it runs on the same software and routes. The main difference is that the resistance of Allerbi Core is generated by the smart trainer.

Allerbi Core connects your smart trainer via Bluetooth, allowing the computer to send resistance data and receive riding data like speed and cadence. Although it's not a vertically integrated bike like Allerbi Upright, it still offers features like two-way real-time interaction. However, its performance will be largely affected by the performance of your smart trainer.

Below picture shows our testing setup using a Trek road bike and a Wahoo Kickr Snap to test connectivity and interaction. We'll be testing more smart trainers in the coming months, so stay tuned for more updates!
