7 years ago today, I graduated from Tricoci University of Beauty Culture with my Esthetics License! I had already passed my state board, and just clocked out for the last time. I had no idea where I would end up, but was so optimistic for the future. I found my first job at a medspa where I learned so much, worked for an amazing doctor who took a chance on a fresh out of school Estie like myself, and made some lifelong friends. When that journey ended after Covid, I was devastated. It truly took a hit on who I thought I was as a person, but I kept pushing because giving up on my dream wasn’t something I was willing to do.
I took a chance in 2022 and opened Ally Jimenez Esthetics. It was a slow start, but I kept pushing. In 2023 I relocated to a beautiful space in Carmel and rebranded into Indy Esthetics Studio. I’m still growing and learning the ins and outs of running a business, but this is a journey that is far from over…in fact, this is only the beginning.
To all of my clients and friends, past and present: you have all had a huge impact on the Esthetician I am today. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of the support you’ve given me over the past 7 years.

It’s finally here! I have been preparing for this trip for months, and it’s finally happening! For those of you who aren’t already aware, I will be closed from June 21st- June 27th to attend one of the country’s largest esthetician conventions held in Las Vegas! I am so excited to soak up all of the knowledge and bring back some new and exciting treatments!

Let’s talk about what nobody wants to talk about when it comes to owning your own business. The growing pains, the sleepless nights, the ‘wanting to give up’ up stage, it’s all real.
You start a business doing something you absolutely love and feel like you’re unstoppable (which you are), but it takes so much time and dedication doing things you sometimes aren’t even sure how to do. I love skincare, everything about it. Giving my clients skin they feel confident in, educating them, making them glow, I’m all about it and feel like I’m pretty damn good at it!
But that’s not all it entails. It’s marketing, social media (which I’m horrible at), putting yourself out there, making a name for yourself, networking.
Sometimes I’ll make a post that took me hours to create, and get no interaction on it. Just have to keep pushing 💪🏼

The freedom I found from working for myself is unmatched. Do I have to put in the extra work? YES. Does my work go beyond going into the studio and seeing clients then leaving? ABSOLUTELY. Do I put in countless unpaid hours trying to grow something successful? EVERYDAY! But when I tell you it’s been the most rewarding journey I’ve ever taken, I mean it.
You’ll hear the success stories of people making 6 figures in the first year, and it’s ok if you don’t, those people haven’t walked the same path as you, and your story may be different. Only be in competition with yourself, nobody else.

Never give up on your dreams, because dreams can become your reality at any point in life 🫶🏻

‘How often should I come in for a facial treatment?’
•Facials and treatments are recommended typically every 4-6 weeks. There are a number of factors that go into it, and it really depends on your personal treatment plan and what you’re targeting. For somebody who is wanting to ‘age gracefully’ and maintain healthy skin with no specific concern, 4-6 weeks between treatments is the sweet spot (along with a professional home care regimen)
Consultations are important to talk with your skincare professional on the best treatment plan for your personal goals 💖
