Life's path is seldom straight, and mine was no exception. Born to dysfunctional, abusive parents, I encountered fear, uncertainty, and trauma from an early age, setting the stage for my own struggles with alcoholism. However, these challenges didn't confine my story; they catalyzed my healing and helped forge my calling in helping others. My journey through addiction and recovery has intimately informed my approach in assisting others battling substance abuse, grounding my empathy and expertise in lived experience.
Unexpectedly, my healing journey took a perilous turn during a supposed short-term job in India, where I found myself a hostage in a harrowing brainwashing ordeal. The subsequent physical and psychological toll this took introduced me to the dire limitations and, occasionally, the negligence of Western medicine, particularly in its treatment of PTSD and other trauma-related conditions.
Surviving a hostage situation and a life-threatening infection was just the beginning. Later, facing the devastation of the Woolsey fire, I once again had to summon all my resilience. Each of these incidents, terrifying and traumatic in their own right, reinforced my skills and trust in shamanic and intuitive healing practices, steering me toward aiding others, especially veterans grappling with PTSD.
Through this video, I share not just the hardships but the profound lessons and spiritual insights gained. This journey underscores the power of finding meaning in suffering and the potential for personal transformation and healing.

The irony is that we spend very little time in reflection, primarily because of our fear, of the fear, of the unknow and the truth! Often, we prefer to live in the illusion that busy-ness and productivity are the path to fulfillment and happiness. We fill our time with every distraction imaginable, meaningful, or not, anything to avoid looking deep inside ourselves to uncover our true self, our true essence, our true soul nature. We falsely believe in the illusion that we have everything under control, despite all the evidence constantly slapping us in the face.
We hold on to the illusion that one day we will figure it all out, discover who we really are, our life purpose, and then everything will be okay. The problem is that, that day never arrives, and we end up pretending we are not pretending.
How we think and feel about our self is reflected to us, through our relationship with our Self, others, and in our way of being in the world. Often, we are oblivious to the fact we are just puppets on a string, and psyche as the puppet master. To change our programming, we must overcome the internal urge to allow the “human flaw” to rule.
When we are willing to let go of the past and move into self-acceptance, that is when we will finally feel safe in our bodies again. This is the path to reconnecting with love, connection, touch, and our authentic Self. This is the alchemical process of individuation.

From Jung’s perspective archetypes are living entities that reside in our soul. They are live entities within us that direct our life underneath the veil, or radar so to speak. Jung described archetypes as the images that occur all over the earth. These images find their way into ancient religions, myths, legends, and fairy tales. We find evidence of archetypes in our dreams, fantasies, and of course in our behavior. Every character in both our personal dreams and collective myths is an archetype. We can observe archetypes in the characters of the stories we read, the films we watch, and the plays we attend.
Taking the time to become more aware of how various archetypes influence our behavior, and our life can be very powerful transformational tools. Clarity and understanding surrounding archetypes allow us to see adverse behavior and character defects from a different perspective.
