Mitsch architects Darin and Ryan got a head start on their long weekend – and for a great cause! Together with our friends Seth from Alt Construction and Zeke from Vita Investment Holdings, they participated in Ideal HVAC’s annual charity golf outing benefitting Sheltering Wings, a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence.

Sounds like the foursome put up a great game, with only a few sore muscles to complain about. 🏌‍♀️

National Dog Day could really be EVERY day at Mitsch Design. We share pictures of our pups via our company-wide teams channel…they make regular appearances in our virtual meetings…and of course they are welcome in our offices! We’d be dog-gone LOST without the love and companionship of our canine companions! Take a peek at just some of our doggos and the people who love them.

Rustin Schambach joins our team as Graduate Architect. Rustin graduated in May from Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning, and managed to fit in a wedding and honeymoon before joining us at Mitsch. He's a natural fit to our team of fun and talented folks, and we are so glad he's here!

Natalie Linton, Senior Project Designer, worked at Mitsch a few years ago, so when we got the opportunity to have her back on our team, we didn't hesitate! In addition to her incredible eye for design, Natalie is dedicated to delivering only the best to our clients. She generously shares her knowledge and experience and serves as an exceptional mentor for our design team. Welcome back, Natalie - we missed you!

We officially unveiled our beautifully remodeled office in historic Marietta, Georgia last week. Many thanks to all of our friends, partners, vendors, and neighbors who came to celebrate with us! Our new space truly feels like a home now that it's been shared with all of you, and we look forward to hosting more porch and patio events in the future.

The Steuben County Judicial Center in Angola, Indiana celebrated its grand opening last month. Mitsch Design provided interior design, furniture procurement and move management services for this beautiful new building.

Previously, judicial system employees were housed in different buildings throughout the campus, the oldest being the courthouse built in 1868. The new building provides much needed space for collaboration between departments.

As you can imagine, there was a lot of work and planning into a project of this scale form all parties, and it is so rewarding to see this project completed! We know the Steuben County Judicial Center will benefit the the people who live and work in the community for many years to come.

Reason #1,725 we love working at Mitsch Design...we are constantly surrounded by beautiful things! Look at all these lovely fabrics! 😍

We're closing our doors for 2-1/2 days in the middle of July. And for good reason: our team.

Since launching Mitsch Design in 1990, our founder Jeryl Mitsch knew she wanted to do business differently. She prioritized taking care of her employees and connecting authentically with them. Building trust and open communication was essential, as was having fun and creating an environment where people felt supported and cared for, like family.

This incredible culture has remained strong at Mitsch for nearly 35 years. This week it's on full display at Camp Mitsch - a company-sponsored, 2-night retreat for our entire team (that's more than 40 folks around the country) to enjoy food, games, swimming, campfires, lots of laughs - and NO EMAIL - at a small lake resort in Poland, Indiana.

Because nothing is more important than your people - your work family - our 💜

Drum roll, please....We are thrilled to announce that we collected 100 vases for Random Acts of Flowers Indianapolis! We just love their mission to bring a bit of sunshine to someone's day by delivering flowers to folks in healthcare facilities across Indianapolis. RAF relies on donations of flowers and vases - and of course, monetary donations, too - to make this possible. Our employees, vendors, and neighbors in the Indiana Design Center were happy to help stock the shelves. Thanks to all who made this possible and to Random Acts of Flowers Indianapolis Program Director Patti for coming by to pick up our collection. 🌸🌼🌺

🌺🌸🌼If you're in Indy, you've probably heard of Random Acts of Flowers Indianapolis. This awesome group takes donated/recycled flowers and vases and distributes them to patients at healthcare facilities around the city. What a happy surprise for these folks to receive a beautiful bouquet to brighten their days!

We wanted to help with this important mission, so we are collecting vases for RAF at our Carmel HQ, June 10-28. Our goal is 150 vases!

If you're in the area, please drop off vases using the guidelines outlined below. Mitsch Design is located on the second floor of the Indiana Design Center and we are open from 9-5 Monday-Friday.

New to the portfolio...Argento at Riverlights, a beautiful 286-unit community in Wilmington, North Carolina managed by the Sterling Group! Inspired by the beautiful surroundings, the coastal design is warm, inviting and sophisticated.

This project began back in 2020 and as it progressed, it was unfortunately impacted by the material shortages and cost increases that were experienced across the industry during that time. In partnership with Sterling Group, we were able to think creatively to keep costs in check while keeping the design intent intact.

We are enjoying the most perfect spring day at the Atlanta Apartment Association Golf Classic. What a great opportunity to meet so many multifamily partners!

Imagine living in a resort-like setting, every day of your life! That’s what residents of the Canvas at Savannah get to experience. This beautiful property by Cushman & Wakefield is a lovely example of modern living infused with southern charm.

We loved hosting students from Indiana State Sycamores interior design program at our Indy office this morning. We gave them a peek at the renovation we are planning for our own office, complete with a VR headset test drive and a look at all the lovely finishes we’ve chosen. Thanks for spending the morning with us!

Coffee lovers, rejoice! Oaks on Main promises to be a beautiful coffee shop and event venue in one, located in the heart of beautiful downtown Lebanon, Indiana. The space is a ministry of Freedom Church; they purchased the building on historic Main Street in 2022, with a vision to create a place "where life can happen." Construction has recently begun; Oaks on Main is slated to open in early 2025.

Did you get to see the ?🌎🌕🌞 Our office in Carmel, IN was in the path of totality for over 3 minutes! Our folks in Atlanta, Denver, California, Illinois, Oregon and Tennessee all had varying degrees of coverage, as well. EVERYONE got a pair of eclipse glasses and were encouraged to get out and take part in this awesome event.
